gazoo
I love this kid, he just gets open, he just makes plays, he just makes it happen, somehow, despite all the things mouthpieces say he can't do. He makes spectacular catches and 70% of his receptions were 3rd down conversions. He holds the NCAA all-time record for receptions. Dude also is an aggressive blocker......LOVE this pick in the 4th round!!!

Tribal Chief
Dude was built to be a wrOne day in elementary school, Hardy read how when Rice was growing up he would work with his father, a brick mason, and got strong hands by catching bricks tossed to him from his father. So Hardy went out and found a brick of his own so he could begin down a path he hoped would take him to the NFL. Since his father wasn't a brick mason Hardy would have a friend stand a few feet away and underhand toss him a brick.

gazoo
I can see all 4 of our draft picks thus far playing significant roles in helping us win games next year.

MAD597
Imagine HD with much better hands, better blocking and much better body control and none of that HD awkwardness of tripping over his own feet.
Bawse
Will be Roddys replacement, and our slot next year.
Sobeit
Roddy's replacement....? Is he that good?I like him. He is a high volume WR that lacks deep speed and works the middle at 5'10 and 190 pounds. He is a good player but not sure how I feel about 5'10 possession WRs.
gazoo
I don't think he can be Roddy's replacement per se, but he is absolute clutch on 3rd down and that is where I see him really helping us. I'd say he's a closer replacement to Gonzo in his last 2 years, but a better blocker. Ryan is going to LOVE having this clutch playmaker on the field on 3rd downs. rootee
Harry Douglas' replacement, but probably better. Was mocked to us on several sites. So far we have not had the WTF pick e.g. holmes, southward. I am hopeful this could be a very good draft. Just don't have enough picks.

Hardy is fearless going cross the middle, this is one reason he's so clutch on 3rd downs. I'll tell you, IMO this is EXACTLY what our offense needed now that Ryan doesn't have a good TE to throw to. since68andcounting
I can see all 4 of our draft picks thus far playing significant roles in helping us win games next year.I think we've got at least 3 starters in the first 4 rounds. I've never said that before.

I am hopeful this could be a very good draft. Just don't have enough picks. Will definitely score more TD's. Dude is great at making contested catches. Something that HD never could do. And that is going to be significant with Roddy getting up there in age and no Gonzalez. Edit: Merge incoming?
birdman71
THIS,Is the kind a draft that propels teams to superbowls. Hardy is a good value pick. He made not be the fastest. But Jerry Rice wasnt either. He has the make up of a great wr. Football iq-check,great hands-check,work ethic-check. Catches a brick his bare hands-check.

likeriver
This seems like a guy you would trust to make catches to move the chains on third down.
rollo lawson
The only scholarship offer coming out of high school was from Fayetteville St. in North Carolina. Ended up walking on at ECU and the rest is history. Way to go front office on 4 damnnn good picks. Let's keep it going with Ray Drew.
