DarrellShropshire
We have 3 flat out studs. HIGH potential and big name football players. We were always the team to overthink sleepers. we got 3 players with limitless ceilings. So excited for rounds 4-7.

These players could all make pro bowls but taking Matt in 07 completely rejuvenated this franchise.
FalconOdense
We took Matt in 08. But best two days of Falcons draft I can remember.
Tuggle'2
Little early to be saying things like that. It could very well turn out to be one of them though.
LookAboutFalcon
No, we got a franchise quarterback in 2008.
Desert_Falcon
so far so good. I really can't wait to see what we do and 4/5, still a lot of good talent on the boards.
Clark Kent™
There is no equivalent to getting a QB like Ryan in a draft. We could have had 3 1st rounders in this draft and it still wouldn't be the best draft class compared to getting the most important position in the NFL locked down for the next decade +
Francis York Morgan
It's the most excited I've ever been about a draft, that's for sure. All guys I liked, even if hesitant about scheme with Coleman. I'm so glad to be done with pretty much every draft before last year's...the other years had some good picks, sure, but most of them I wasn't excited about initially. Last year had me fairly happy, and this year has me ecstatic.

NateDogg1215
i think we are just all excited with a new coach and we are actually staying put and drafting where we are slotted.
Falcanuck
Collins isn't a stud yet. Needs a ton of coaching.
Romfal
I'm going to wait until at least week 4-5 before I "crown their ***"
JJC28
At 4 I want Wr Greene, RashadorTE O'Leary, Nick would not mind this guy in the 4th we need some help at ILB Wilson, Ramik RD 5 this is the guy I want most. FB Varga, Tyler Then OL 6 - 7a -7bIf we could add a couple of these guys man oh man. But I want Varga like bad a bad man in front of our RBs. Francis York Morgan
The draft really did fall the Falcons way, even without trade ups...it's kind of crazy. We take a CB, run on CBs starts. We take a RB, run on RBs starts. I'm wondering what it could be tomorrow...there's some serious talent at DT I don't think we can pass up, same with OL, and a lot of safeties I didn't imagine would last this long. It's all playing out so well.

The talent at DT is too great too ignore but O-line still needs upgrading
ukfalc
I love it so far, but it still has a ways to go to beat 2008. Thay year we found the face of our franchise, the best QB we've ever had. That alone would make it a great draft, but it wasn't just about Matt a Ryan: We found 5 players starters (6 if you include HD who produced 1,000 yards as a starter in 2013). OK, some of them had limitations and none other than Ryan weren't top 10 starters in their positions, but most of them were serviceable starters for several years on teams that were very successful. In a league where finding 2 starters and 2 backups is a good draft, we had a heck of a draft hit in 08. That draft was the single biggest factor in our quick turnaround. AndySG
It's not really any different to last year, with the exception of we took somebody who we had heard of in the third.

Steel City Falcon
Stop. I'm as excited about the draft as anyone else here. But these guys haven't even hit the practice field yet. Lets see how OTA and camp go.
thanat0s
Ha! Um. No. And it will never be the best, unless it's full of HOFers. Any draft with Matt Ryan in it it trumps any draft we've ever had.
Oldskooler
Beasley was the only player I would have been happy about besides the Steeler whose name I will no longer speak of. But let's not kid ourselves: Beasley is a situational pass rusher at best for now. He may or kay not ever develop into an every-down player.Collins is the Unnamed Steeler of the DB class. Lots of potential, loads of physical ability, but raw, green, and in dire need of development. Only starting 10 games makes him a HUGE risk.Tevin Coleman is a player I have no faith or belief in. Speed, yes, but my 7 year old niece runs with more power when dinner is called.
Tribal Chief
Seriously. It's a written rule that draft classes have a 3 year window before they can realistically be considered boom or bust. Everyone should know that by now
freefall
It's understandable to be excited because the team picks players that you like and heard of, but making a thread like this just make you look bad as a poster. Simply put no one in their right mind would make a judgment on a draft success/failure without giving it a few years.
