Yea it does.

Most people their strongest arm is their right, and it's alot easier to stiff arm with the right arm than the left, plus it gives you more push.

I'm not so sure buddy. If he is left handed then more than likely he is stronger in his left arm.

Most people are right handed therefore most people are strongest with their right arm/leg.

Also I have no idea how you came up with right arm stiff arms are stronger than left arm stiff arms.

Most people are stronger in their right arm because most people are right handed. Left handed people would be the opposite.

I used to box before my car accident and had to have my left arm reattached. While I am right handed and it is by definition my stronger arm, my left arm was far more devastating. Makes me sad thinking about it, I used to train at Roy Jone's gym.

Yeah, it was hanging on by a piece of skin and the nerve thank the universe. Also crushed my 4th lumbar and sacrum and had my left ear put back on. Terrible wreck.

Wow!Hate to hear that but from the sounds of your injuries I'm guessing you very easily could have not made it through that accident.

Just damn though.

Yeah I was close to death several times. Well, technically I did die at one point. I was gone for 45 seconds. They hit me with the D-fib and an adrenaline shot and I came back. I lost 8 pints of blood. Never got a transfusion though, which always makes me happy when I think about. Just kinda weirds me out thinking of having someone elses blood pumped into me. Especially with all the horror stories of people getting infected blood.

Out of 5 people in the SUV I was the only one to get injured. I was in impeccable shape at the time and that is what they attribute to me not needing blood and surviving period.

About the accident itself, long story short ... don't drive tired. We were on our way back from a week long Mardi Gras trip to NOLA and my girl friend at the time fell asleep. We hadn't drank in like two days, but were just straight up exhausted. The people who were supposed to drive ended up drinking forcing us/her to drive. I got in a fight with my best friend because of it and everything. I was supposed to stay awake myself and guide her out of NOLA back to Pensacola. I feel asleep and she missed the right we were supposed to take to keep going east on I-10 and ended up driving the wrong way north into Mississippi for 3 hours. She got tired and was looking for a rest stop because she knew she was that bad off and didn't make it. Ended up flipping the Nissan Pathfinder we were driving going about 80. I was just happy nobody else got hurt. She and I stayed together for a few more years. She helped me with learning to walk again and rehabbing my arm and such. She just felt so guilty just looking at me and we split ways. I tried and tried to convince her that shit happens and everyone in that car was to blame. Relationships are tough when dealing with trauma like that.

Dont drive tired! Worse than driving drunk! One second you're fine and the next your brain just shuts off and you can't do crap about it.

Tuggle I'm glad you made it but you are right about driving tired. I worked swing shift 19 years at a paper mill in Dublin GA. So many times I should have died due to waking up heading towards a light pole or looking at the wide eyes of the driver of another car that I'm heading straight towards. Every time I woke up in the nick of time to prevent an accident. Just dumb luck though. I quit that job in Jan. 2000. Was time for a change.

Hopefully he picks up the switching hands thing quickly, that can be a hard habit to break for some guys.

Shouldnt even matter. Most coaches I've known would rather have their ballcarrier feel most comfortable instead of swtiching hands anyway

The left arm carry is an issue if teams continually force him to run right it opens him up to get tackled easier because he can't fend and hold the ball with his left arm.Basically it opens up that side of his body for possible strips and fumbles also.

This the only real issue I have with this guy all the tools are there if he can when running right carry the ball in the right hand and use his left to fend the skies the limit.

Wow. I'm so sorry man. I have a sleeping disorder and actually totaled my car once falling asleep at the wheel, but luckily didn't get any lasting harm...that's really incredible and tragic. It's hard to know what to say about a story like that. I'm glad you made it and no one else was hurt.

Narcolepsy?
