parmenion
Just the addition we need, the defense is built up enough.
CaliFalconFan02
Defense definitely still needs work lol I wouldn't mind this pick though.

g-dawg
while we still need a future TE, I believe w/ signings of Tamme and Moeaki - we solidified ourselves at least for this year - I believe that was done to shore up TE so we could focus on other areas this year than wasting a premium pick on a TE.I don't think Maxx Williams is the pick - I also read something in a scouting report that Maxx Williams is kind of a *****' bag and full of himself - does not sound like a Falcon to me. Dyinglobster
Tamme will quietly have a good season, I think. Not saying the team shouldn't draft a TE, but not sure this class is the one to do it in.
YoungHeezy
I'd take Clive in the 3rd or 4th. OL or CB/S is what I'd look for in round two, maybe even ILB (Kendricks, Dawson, Perryman)
KRUNKuno
Would love Williams, but this pick is either a corner or a RB.

Knight of God
Top TE in a weak TE class which isn't saying much.We got a couple of vet TEs so we didn't have to draft one this year. I don't see Maxx Williams being the pick. I like him, but you are making a seriously good point here. I calculated just over 40 first round choices could be made before the draft and still there are around 12 of those guys left. We may need to slow down and let cooler heads prevail. Take the best player available at 42 and get ready for the 3rd round.

CrimsonFalcon
I'm still thinking we address the DL a little more in the second, maybe a Preston Smith. I've been driving the train since the offseason started and I'm not about to get off of it now. I think between he and Beasley we could have good bookends for years to come. g-dawg
Landon?I think Landon Collins is probably the target - doubt he falls to us though - would have to move up 5 spots or so to get him - what would that cost? 5th round + something?
AgapeElement
I really hope Williams is not the pick, unless we trade down.

Butudontseeme™
No thanks. Buddy looks like the definition of a mediocre player at the next level, to me. If you gotta have a TE this year, pick up funchess or Walford. Personally, I think we need ILB, secondary or OL here and RB in the next round. k-train
Doesn't seem like much dropoff from Williams to the other TEs, and this is a pretty weak draft class for the poistion, so I highly doubt we value Maxx over some of the other players (OL, CB, WR, S, LB, etc) that will be available.I'd say we are more likely to wait until later in the draft & grab someone like Rory Anderson or Wes Saxton.
