maxatlanta
This draft seems set up for us...In the 1st we needed a PR. That was one of the deepest talent pools and we benefited. Now we are lined up to pick 10th, with the following consensus top prospects remaining at our greatest need spots:PR GregoryCB CollinsS CollinsWR DGBOL ClemmingsDE HaroldWR StrongOL FisherTE Williams

Tribal Chief
They are taking a RB in the second round. That's my oddball guess
Drunken Minotaur Zebra
The stars only aligned in round one if you believe Beasley is a great pick.Oh come on man, its a miracle he dropped to us. He is the most refined pass rusher in the draft, and has mutant athleticism. He was a top 5 talent and we got him at 8.
FalconFanSince1969
The stars only aligned in round one if you believe Beasley is a great pick.Which would be the 99.9% of the population that isn't Georgia fans.
nbostp
The stars only aligned in round one if you believe Beasley is a great pick. Some people won't get past the fact the team didn't want to draft an injured RB at 8.

maxatlanta
The stars only aligned in round one if you believe Beasley is a great pick.I just mean the top guy at doing what we need the most fell to our pick. I understand he may not have been everyone's overall bpa.Now we see some of the top position prospects at cb, s, te, ol and de still available. If our front office is worth their weight we should them select an immediate starter at 42. He was a top 5 talent and we got him at 8.He is, as it stands today, a situational pass rusher. I'm not saying his game won't develop. I'm not hoping for bad things. In fact, I hope the opposite is true. I hope he's a monster player.Having said that, it was no miracle he was there. Teams aren't usually keen on taking part time players that high. You'll notice we are the only team that did.

thanat0s
Please explain how Leonard Williams isn't a part time player right now with Wilkerson and Muhammed there. He plays any spot along the line, and does it well.Oh, and btw, that's a poor choice, because you aren't arguing his full time ability. You're just pointing out that he has great players along side him that could affect his time. They took bpa, something we should learn from. maxatlanta
Beasley had a ridiculous 44.5 tackles for loss over the last 2 seasons. Its not like he didn't contribute against the run.
FalconFanSince1969
He plays any spot along the line, and does it well.Part time player. He's not going to be on the field for run downs in place of a true nose and he's not going to be taking two of the bests spots any time soon.PartTimePlayerYou were wrong. Just get over it. And let's say he "part times" and gets 10 sacks...that's still a good return on investment

thanat0s
THE best pass rusher in the draft according to SackSEER:http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stat-analysis/2015/sackseer-2015According to someone's opinion that happens to agree with your own. Of course, anyone who questioned the pick last night in the media were all fools. That's how this place works.
thanat0s
We'll see lol I'm biased I love Beasley. I'm actually not digging many of these OL ..including ScherffI think I mentioned to you, I only only saw three elite level prospects in the draft. Two were gone by 8. The third would've taken vision and forethought this organization has never had. All the PR guys had the same potential and the same flaws in my book. That's why I can't jump for joy over him, because as it turned out, we could get the same ability tonight if we want it.
