FalconFromSpain
Ok, i was looking at the roster and then thought about using Durant and Beasly as OLB, not sure who's gonna play weakside and strongside and then Reed at MLB. Then when we go nickel or some pass rush formation then move Beasley at DE and keep Durant and Reed at LB. If the base dline looks like Clayborn-Hage-Soliai-Schoefield or Clayborn-Soliai-Babs-Hage then we can sub out Soliai move Clayborn inside and then Beasley at DE. We aslo can use Hage-Babs inside and Beasley and Clayborn/Schoefield outside. Looking at those combinations we should improve A LOT our pass rush and our players should be well rested by the end of the game with all the rotations we can use. I'm getting really excited to see this defense play, season cant get soon enough. Edited May 1, 2015 by FalconFromSpain

*TMo*
The LEO position formerly called the Elephant linebacker, generally dedicated to rushing the passer in a wide nine technique.http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2013/1/19/3890928/gus-bradley-defense-leo-positionhttp://www.fieldgulls.com/football-breakdowns/2013/6/4/4350052/seahawks-defense-pete-carroll-leo-and-5-tech

Quinn's version is slightly different but this is the gist of the defense and is why Beasley was drafted to be the Leo.http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2013/1/19/3890928/gus-bradley-defense-leo-position

Tony Diesel
Yes, Beasley will be the LEO/RDE...However, in Quinn's 4/3 under, LEO and SAM are interchangeable. So, Beasley, Schofield, Reed, Shembo, and Biermann will learn both positions.
*TMo*
At the center of the line will be a nose guard or nose tackle whichever you prefer to call him. He will occasionally be in the 0 technique which is directly over the center but will more often be in the 1 technique which is outside eye of the center.Outside of the nose player there will be a defensive tackle or under tackle and a large defensive end. These guys are usually in the 3 technique or thereabouts. Both these guys play much like defensive ends in a 3-4 defensive. That leaves the fourth lineman or LEO. He will line up with one or two hands on the ground outside of the offensive tackle usually on opposite the side where the nose person is shaded, usually in a wide 9 technique so he can easily rush the passer which is his primary responsibility. One thing I don't know is if the SAM occasionally has responsibly for setting the edge on a running play instead of the LEO. I can't seem to figure that out. Does anyone know? I can't seem to figure that out. Does anyone know?Yes, in Quinn's system all LEOs learn SAM and vice-versa.In the 4/3 Under, SAM plays close to the line and while SAM usually has run-stopping responsibilities, he will also be asked to rush the passer at times. FalconFromSpain
Sam poisition is played by Reed, right? then Beasley will play opposite with Durant behind him
Tony Diesel
Sam poisition is played by Reed, right? then Beasley will play opposite with Durant behind himAs you can see...SAM is right up at the line [Reed]WILL is right behind the UT (3Tech) [Durant]MIKE right behind LDE and NT [Worrilow]SS plays up near the linebackersFS plays centerfield

I thougth Schoefield was gonna play Leo and use Beasley at Will, then Reed at Mike and Durant at Sam. Then moving to this set on passing downs with Hage at 1-tech and Babs/Clayborn at the 3-tech, Beasley at Leo and Schoefield/Gpodman/Maponga/Bierman at the 5/6-tech Edited May 1, 2015 by FalconFromSpain

Then we're more fitting of a 4-3 under feeling like a 3-4.
Psychic Gibbon
I like that lineup except switch Hageman and Soliai. Then we're more fitting of a 4-3 under feeling like a 3-4.No, I think that is where they are best suited under the scheme. Typically the NT lines up on the same side as the Leo to help seal the Center and maybe draw the attention of the nearest Guard to make life easier for the ILB and WLB against the run. Then we're more fitting of a 4-3 under feeling like a 3-4.No, Soliai will certainly be the NT/1Tech as that's his only position.Even though Hageman has the ability to play 1Tech, after slimming down a bit, and given his pass rushing abilities, I think he is our 3-Tech. That's why I said switch.

In other words your alignment has Soliai playing 3 tech instead of 1.
TheFatboi
The 4-3 under basically has the same concept of a 3-4. The 1 tech lines up over center which would be Soliai in a 4-3 under. The beef still needs to be in the middle of that alignment just like in a 3-4.
