Should We Try To Trade Up To The Top Pick In The 2Nd Round?

Recommended Posts

Should we try to trade up to the 1st pick? Is it worth it? I see two players worth the trade up: Gregory and Clemmings. Draft value chart suggests a high 4th as the difference, but obviously one has to pay a premium to get the top pick. Would you trade up for our 4th and next year's 4th? If yes, who would you target?

We pick 10th today at 42. I could live with any of Kendricks, Erick Fisher, TJ Clemmings, Landon Collins, Gregory, Harold, Cann, Jaelen Strong, Marpet, or Tevin Coleman. Right there is 10 guys so the answer is no let the draft come to you. Someone good will be there. Plus I would add Lael Collins to that list if he isn't involved in that murder in anyway.

I agree that we would get someone good based on the players left on the board. The question is though, is any of them significantly better than the rest. I think the answer to that question is yes for Gregory and Clemmings, particularly Gregory.
