hjerry
The Atlanta Falcons are the team "most associated in a trade with the Jaguars," with "Leonard Williams and Dante Fowler Jr" as the targeted players, according to TFY Draft Insider Tony Pauline. The Falcons are in desperate need of a pass rusher, and both Williams or Fowler Jr. would be welcome with open arms by the Falcons fanbase. Both prospects could be off the board by the No.8 selection, so if Atlanta is serious about either player, a trade up is paramount. Pauline adds that the Falcons are also "very interested in Vic Beasley." Source: TFY Draft InsiderApr 30 - 3:26 PM

Sponge
Getting to 3 would probably cost next year's 1st. I'd rather trade up to 5 if we're going to trade up since Cooper will probably go at 3 or 4.I agree, I'd rather trade up to 5, one of them will be there. Bobby.Digital
A 2nd should get it done. There's isn't that big of a talent disparity between 3-8 as there has been years previous. Williams + Irving = Pass rush. Williams would be pretty mad tho he's stated numerous times how he wants to be a Raider. But they also want an edge rusher to complement Ryan Kerrigan, and don't want to miss out on both Fowler and Clemson's Vic Beasley. SI's Peter King also said Monday he can't see the Redskins passing on Fowler at No. 5.Related: Redskins Source: Dianna Marie Russini on Twitter
Francis York Morgan
Would rather not trade up. Just doesn't make sense unless the deal is seriously sweetened. The Beasley link is interesting since it felt like they weren't mentioning him hardly at all till now. It's like, we showed all this interest at his Pro Day and talked to him about being the LEO, and then nothing. Besides the private workout. Guess we'll see. Sun Tzu 7
Trading next year's 1st is a BAD idea.Quinn doesn't have a 3 year window.... he has to start winning next season before the stadium opens.... If he isn't AND there's no 1st round pick the only way to generate excitement with the fan base is a new Head Coach...
HEIST
Man I don't think you gotta trade up to 3 to get Fowler. I think you just need to get in front of the Jets if anything.

He'll likely enter the league in the first stage of substance-abuse program, meaning he'll be randomly tested. Francis York Morgan
What do you think about this Moore?Funny you mention that. Was close to starting a thread a couple hours ago saying that I have a gut feeling Shane Ray is going to be a Falcon regardless of his issues. I don't like it. I don't like the idea of drafting him at 8 when we're in a prime spot to trade down and likely still land him. I don't like taking him even after that for the most part just because of all the issues compounded on each other...but at the same time, I kinda do. I could make myself like it easily. All the doubters are going to be going full-force on Ray in the offseason, whether he goes high or low. And he's very determined to prove them wrong. His mentality in the locker room would be infectious. So I mean, I really don't want it. But I could make myself like it.

I'd rather trade up to 5 if we're going to trade up since Cooper will probably go at 3 or 4.Too much to give up. I don't believe any of the reports coming out, it happens every year. DonDaLuvMaker
I just don't get how pot smoking injured Ray is still in consideration but pot smoking Gregory who's a better player isn't. If we're going to throw character concerns out the window it should be for Gregory, not Ray. This may be why:Randy Gregory - DL - PlayerAppearing on ESPN's NFL Insiders, Adam Schefter said one team was "disturbed" by Nebraska edge rusher Randy Gregory's lack of honesty at the Combine.Per Schefter, the team asked Gregory the last time he smoked marijuana, and he replied "November." Gregory, of course, would go on to fail a Combine drug test in February. "They didn't feel like they got truthful answers from him," Schefter said, something that was echoed by Bill Polian. Gregory is a top-10 talent who could fall to the back half of Round 1.
FentayeJones
Going from 8 to 5 will only cost a 3d round pick.Going from 8 to 3 will cost a whole lot more.

My guess to which team would be CLE and they take WR Kevin WhiteWe'll take Ray @ 12 while picking up either a 2nd or a 3rd and another mid rounder. If we're going to throw character concerns out the window it should be for Gregory, not Ray. I like Gregory, maybe even more on the field and for potential than Ray, but there's a tremendous difference in attitude between the two. Gregory doesn't have near the drive Ray does. If the anxiety thing is true, that's a big deal too. And three positive tests with full knowledge of them coming up is worse than one bad test, then nothing for years, then an arrest. Still dumb, but different. And Gregory seems dishonest. Fake in a lot of ways.I just feel like Ray is more of what Quinn is looking for. But hey, maybe it's all a smokescreen. Bengals said AJ Green seemed lazy and like a bad practice player and that they favored Julio Jones, and I think that was to keep anyone from trading up ahead of them in part. I have no idea what we'll really do.

aerosmith67
The last big move almost got them to a Super Bowl in 2012, if the gamble is to be highly competitive by 2016/17 that would be a big boom for a stadium full of unsold PSL's. Could you blame TD and AB for thinking about that a bit?
