capologist
1. Winston2. Mariota3. Cooper/Williams4. Cooper/Williams5. Trade next year's 2nd and #8 to the Redskins who want to move out of #5. Falcons take Dante Fowler, Jr.

g-dawg
I was thinking if we went up to 5 we'd trade our 3rd rounder this year. That would probably be worth more to the Skins than next year's 2nd. yeah, I would rather give up this year's 3rd rounder - we could maybe make that up this year by trading down in the 2nd. FalconFanSince1969
Puts us down a 2nd and a 5th next year...not good.
The Real Tony G.
Wouldn't be the worst idea, though this scenario would likely leave 2 or 3 guys I like more than Fowler on the board.
Francis York Morgan
1. Winston2. Mariota3. Cooper/Williams4. Cooper/Williams5. Trade this year's first for Cleveland's pick at #12 and their third rounder. Falcons somehow land a slipping Vic Beasley.Hard to see it happening, but you're right, wouldn't mind it at all. +
LookAboutFalcon
I don't understand the Fowler hype. I think he will be a solid player, but I just don't see an elite sack artist people are making him out to be. Stay put and take BPA and keep our picks. thanat0s
I'm totally against moving up for anybody not named Williams. What a waste.
Adam25
I wouldn't mind this at all, Fowler Jr. would be a solid addition.
hjerry
I could actually see the draft going QB,QB,WR,WR, and defenders not coming off the board till 5.

I don't know offhand who their target would be @ 8, Dupree / Beasley whichever is still there for them I'd imagine.

Sponge
I hope Williams falls to 5, but I'd be happy with Fowler too. Anyone but Dupree ...
Big Reg Da Commish
Is there really that much of a difference between the projected impact of Fowler and Beasley?I'm don't think I wanna give up more picks to get Fowler if I can get Beasley 3 picks later. I don't know offhand who their target would be @ 8, Dupree / Beasley whichever is still there for them I'd imagine. It's already been reported that they do. It's right now believed that if Fowler makes it past Jacksonville, then there won't be a defensive prospect off the board until 5, with the Redskins taking Fowler. hjerry
This is my wet dream scenario.QBQBWRWRFowlerBeaselySheltonWilliamsThe Bears are the real wild card, but I could see it happening. It would be like last year, where arguably the best player falls right in our laps.I can still dream for now. Don't hate.

But they also want an edge rusher to complement Ryan Kerrigan, and don't want to miss out on both Fowler and Clemson's Vic Beasley. SI's Peter King also said Monday he can't see the Redskins passing on Fowler at No. 5. Knight of God
Just get me an edge guy not named Gregory. Thank you.
Knight of God
BTW I think we trade up to 5 or 6 if we do trade. Titans may not be looking at QB. I hear whispers of wanting Williams and playing Mett this year at QB and still drafting a QB late.So you want anyone but the best edge guy. Got it. No, I love Beasley. Psychic Gibbon
I think Beasley has the best speed, burst, and quickness of all the edge rushers. But Gregory has the length, the fluid hips, long arms, ability to get around the edge AND stop the run, etc...I'd be very happy with either one.I don't want Fowler but Gregory is the only one who would piss me off if he became a Falcon. He's nothing more than another Dion Jordan.
Jerry Maguire
Think the Redskins want to trade down and know the Falcons want Fowler. Leak out that Redskins want Fowler. BUT, if it were true, how would you know for sure?
