Brandon Boykin, Mychal Kendricks, Fletcher Cox And Evan Mathis On Trading Block

Would you trade our 8 for a combo of these players and a late rd pick? Getting our 8 would put the Eagles in a position to package more picks to move up to 2 for Mariotta...

Chip Kelly could keep wheeling and dealing through the NFL Draft.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday that defensive back Brandon Boykin and linebacker Mychal Kendricks could be moved at the right price in a trade, according to sources with teams around the league.

Boykin, 24, has been effective in the slot corner under Kelly, but the coach seems determined to build a roster of his own hand-picked players. The Eagles, who acquired Byron Maxwell and Walter Thurmond in free agency, don't appear done with their secondary rebuild. Boykin will earn $1.54 million in the final year of his contract.

Kendricks, 24, may be expendable in Philadelphia after the team traded for inside linebacker Kiko Alonso and handed out a contract extension to DeMeco Ryans. Kendricks, a second-round pick in the 2012 draft, is due just $896,060 in the final year of his rookie deal.

In addition to Boykin and Kendricks, NFL Media's Albert Breer reported Thursday that Fletcher Cox and Evan Mathis are veteran players other teams have viewed as potential trade pieces for the Eagles.

All players should have healthy markets. It wouldn't be a shock if they're on new teams by Sunday morning.

...you're kidding, right? Boykin is one of the best nickel corners in the league.

Man please. I live 10 min outside of philly, and have plenty of eagles knowledge, im not living off of Boykins pre draft hype on this board or performance his first year, any eagles watcher knows he had a HUGE drop off in production and was a liability for them ALL season I have no reason to slight my judgement im not an eagles fan. He has no trade value

Sounds like they got Cox, Curry, Boykin, and Kendricks on the market. They are trying to get up to #2 so they need more picks.

Apparently Cleveland may be willing to swap a 1st for S. Bradford???? If that happens then Philly will form a package to get up to 2.

Chip knows something about his players that others don't know. He's singlehandedly shaking up the draft board with these deals. It's like a game of monopoly.
