Sounding Like Beasley Will Be There At 8

Recommended Posts

From everything I'm hearing according to the top 7 fan bases and all the reports it's sounding like this is how the top 7 will play out:

Winston

Mariota

Cooper

Williams

Fowler

Dupree

White

Now all it takes is one trade to mess this all up but I'd be willing to take the risk and stand pat. I think holding onto our 3rd round pick is pretty big. We should be able to land a very good RB with that pick.

ah yes, the great fanbases, who probably know just as much as the average tatf bloke. Guessing Gurlie to Atlantie would have been #8 on that list.

I dint go to the team sites. I have another site that I check which pretty much has all knowledgeable fans. There right more times than wrong.

My guess is the TD will trade up, probably to 5. The Skins want more picks. We can only hope that all we give up is a 3rd and a 6th. Nothing from next years draft please. Not saying that's what I want. TD loves to trade up, he just can't help himself. What will be available at 5? We shall find out, about 9:30 pm tomorrow. We need so much help, we should trade down. Besides the often talked about LEO, we must get a RB, an OG, and a Safety. We also need Wideout and Corner help. So many needs, so few picks. But again, I think we trade up. That's what TD does. Maybe Pioli will keep him from it this year (we can hope).

I'll be honest boys. I don't think we are taking Beasley, even if he is there at # 8. So many here at TATF loves him, but I don't feel that same sense of love elsewhere. My honest expectation is that he is there at # 8, we go elsewhere, and this board erupts.

I'm totally fine with waiting for VB at 8 and I think we should. If we trade up then it better be for Williams. If VB is not there then take Randy or trade down to pickup more picks and take someone good. That's all I want for Christmas.......that's all.

Do you mean Randy "go ahead and suspend me now" Gregory? That is who you want with the eighth overall pick of the draft?

In what universe does Dupree go before Beasley?

I've done a ton of research and reading on the subject. A lot of NFL scouts list Dupree ahead of Beasley. It's all about size. Based on what I've read, if Beasley and Dupree are both there at # 8, I predict we take Dupree.

Yes Sir! I believe his issues have been overblown massively by the teams that want him. A young man can mature very quickly when he's faced with the reflection of his own stupidity on this stage.

So his multiple failed drug tests in college, along with his failed drug test just before the combine, when he POSITIVELY KNEW he was going to be tested, is part of the massively overblown conspiracy by the teams wanting him? I have an alternative theory ... he's a freaking pot head.

He's high risk and potentially high reward. Very similar story to the Honey badger. I believe the right team can make him into a star and that team could be us. I don't deny the risk but, from appearances he seems like he'd be an easier fix than Tyrann.
