MSalmon
With all the Ray and Gregory news, and uncertainty of what top tier edge guy is left is Landon back in the discussion if we traded back?My take is I don't think Scherff would be the pick at 8--dint see him in zbs...Gurley? Well it's possible but not likely...I think bud Dupree is supremely overrated..maybe a WR...but then again grabbing the top ranked Safety and accumulating a few picks in the process ain't bad? This , of course, is assuming we dint trade up.Thoughts? MSalmon
The kid is awesome.Yeah, I just re watched some of his tape. I almost wish Beasley would fall to us and then we traded back in to get Collins. That happens and I don't care who we draft after that
Sidecar Falcon
Definitely, guy is a great player. I think he goes at the very latest to the Ravens.
youngbloodz
At 8? I rather take Gurley

MSalmon
At 8? I rather take GurleyNah a trade back. I agree he's not an 8 overall pick. I'd take Gurley before him at 8. I'd take Landon in about pick 12-20 without a problem, though

Tony Diesel
Yes, I think he is a possible target if we traded back OR if after selecting our #8 pick, we then trade back into the 1st round.BUT a solid edge rusher is much harder to come by than a safety, soooo, I think an edge rusher will be our #1 priority. Francis York Morgan
Nah a trade back. I agree he's not an 8 overall pick. I'd take Gurley before him at 8. I'd take Landon in about pick 12-20 without a problem, thoughIf the Chargers really do want to trade up, and Beasley isn't there, I hope Collins is the target. The trade up idea a few people have mentioned is good too, he could easily be at the back of the first.

I'm pretty sure Marota will be gone by then
Sidecar Falcon
He's definitely an Ozzie type of pick. I have to admit I like the Ravens. They have been looking for a replacement for Reed, he could be that guy.

Likely nothing, as with most pre-draft chatter, but yeah.if the safety isn't in the mold of Ed Reed Sean Taylor or Earl Thomas I'm just not that impressed to take them in the firstReminds me a bit of Taylor tbh. youngbloodz
He doesn't remind me of Sean Taylor at all. Sean was a special player. Physical and big enough to play LB. Fast and quick enough to play corner. Had hands like a WR. I never saw Sean get beat deep for a TD in college. If that video exist i never saw it

youngbloodz
That's what Reed was, that's what Collins can be.Ed was a far superior ball hawking safety. The man could read passing lanes and routes like very few defensive players could. He proved that in college. Landon isn't that type of safety. He reminds me of Willy Mo at Missouri a little. OneManWolfPack
Collins has the ability to be a game changer. Not even the best safety in the draft. Even if they trade back, I guarantee you he won't be the pick.

Sui_Generis
Gurley. Heard a couple rumors about it. Likely nothing, as with most pre-draft chatter, but yeah.Reminds me a bit of Taylor tbh.Exactly. Reminds me of Taylor also. Plays with that brash confidence. I don't think he is quite as fast as Taylor, but no doubt the kind is every bit as physical. Collins is a baller. Collins had better ball skills than Moore.
