atlGM
The Falcons showed in free agency that they wanted to build this team through the draft. This is my best guess on how they may think about going about that.Given the uncertainty of what may happen in the top 10 picks of the drafts i think TD an Co. will be exploring every option available to acquire the best talent available. In this mock I can see the Falcons trading back twice with WR needy teams acquiring the 2nd(43), 3rd(83) and a future 4th round Selection. Aquiring these extra picks while remaining in the top 20 of the draft will give Atlanta the flexibility to take the best available O-lineman or draft Their desired pass rusher. I chose to go with the best available o-lineman with the first pick and to trade up with the Pats giving up the 42nd and 107th picks to draft their choice of pass rusher.1(17) Cameron Erving OGErving Has the ability to step in day 1 and compete for a starting role on the Falcons interior offensive line 1(32) Shane Ray DE/OLBI think before the off the field incident Ray was atop Atlanta’s draft board. They know that he wasn’t worth the 8th pick but wouldexcellent value at the 32nd selection 2(43) Stephone Anthony LBQuinn needs an athletic MLB to run his 4-3 under scheme. Anthony will have the opportunity to compete for that role. 3(73) Markus Golden DEI have no allegiance towards the university of Missouri but their edge rushers were lethal this past season. Taking Golden here will give Quinn some insurance in the pass rush column 3(83) Tj Yeldon RBAtlanta could definitely look to add a piece to the secondary here but they opt for one college footballs most dynamic RB’s. I think the Falcons get Matt Forte type production from Yeldon day 1 5(146) Josue Matias OGMatias doesn’t have the ideal workout numbers but showed to be more than competent in protection Jamsis Winston at FSU 6(185) Justin Fowler FBAtlanta wants to make the run game an emphasis so adding a bulldozing FB should help that cause 7(225) Nick Marshal CBMarshall is definitely a project but should get a chance to at least show what he’s got in training camp Edited April 29, 2015 by atlGM

takeitdown
I assume you meant we take Erving at 18 overall or so? You'd need to move back that far to get the picks you're projecting.

Dirtybird#11
Erving is a 3rd round prospect at best. He is only being considered a 1st cause he played every position on OLINE at FSU. But little did you know Erving was forced to do so because he struggled at OT and OG but finally found a position he was effective at which was C. He is more than athletic enough to play and obviously stong enough to play center. I'd say he's an instant upgrade. I thought staying put and taking Scherff but he Just Seems more like a RG to me
