parmenion
Gurley is the pick. Unless we can get Fowler. Gurley may not fit our immediate needs but we already address most of the defense with free agency. He is that good he fits the immediate and long term needs. Look what DeMarco Murray did for Dallas last year. With Freeman/Smith and Gurley watch out. And last but not least - New Orleans will pick him at #
Tribal Chief
Williams or bust
Sponge
With Williams, Fowler, and Beasley gone @ 8, I think the day 1 difference maker will have to come from the offensive side of the ball. Every defensive player past 8 is a reach without trading back. Edited April 29, 2015 by SpongeDad
Francis York Morgan
Making the argument for Gurley based on what Demarco Murray did behind the best line in football isn't the greatest idea.

thanat0s
Williams or bustHe's the one defender I trust in the top ten. The others start my worry alarm going off. In fact, while I won't hate taking one of these pass rushers or Scherff, the only guys I'm 100% comfortable with at 8 are Williams, Cooper, and Gurley. thanat0s
I swear most of the Gurley people don't understand the concept of schemes, run blocking, and offensive lines. They are convinced that Gurley can run for 2,000 yards with a swiss cheese offensive line and no defense. What I see is a team with no running attack at all. None. Zero.
paulitik
I think Williams, Gurley, or Beasley could be elite players. Beasley isn't as complete at his position as Williams and Gurley, but he could be an elite pass rusher, which I will take all day long,
