Tevin Coleman

Recommended Posts

ESPN Falcons reporter Vaughn McClure expects Atlanta to "prioritize" running back in the draft.

McClure specifically mentions Indiana RB Tevin Coleman as a possible target at No. 42 overall. Coleman had a pre-draft visit with the Falcons, and coach Dan Quinn came away impressed. "For us, were going to be wide-zone team, so we like guys who can make the cut and then play aggressive with the ball in their hands," Quinn said. Coleman (5-foot-11, 206) has all the tools as a back who can cut and get upfield, catch the ball out of the backfield, and pass protect a bit.

I havent watched enough of Tevin Coleman but everything I've read suggests he's not a guy I want on this team.

Everything I've read says he's impatient and a "go go go go" guy. In a ZBS, you've gotta have Coleman's decisiveness but you also have to have patient and the ability to read the field. I'd rather have Gurley, Abdullah, Yeldon, Duke, Cobb.
