etherdome
Two months ago, our draft looked beautiful. We need an edge rusher and this draft was one of the deepest in memory. At #8, we had Gregory, Fowler, Beasley, and Ray. The draft looked like two QB's and two WR's would be drafted ahead of us. Dupree was the ace in the hole, in case things did not go our way. Now, Ray and Gregory have been linked to weed and will be entered into the NFL drug policy protocol. If both of those WR's don't get picked ahead of us, we could be left with no real top ten edge rusher. I can't believe that I am about to write this, but Todd Gurley may actually be our best value pick!
ArthursMoustache
The beauty of the draft. Regardless, it's fun to spitball!
Clark Kent™
Was in complete agreement until i read the Gurley part. Smh. There is not a scenario when Gurley becomes our guy at 8.
RHEC
I could only see 1 wr going in the top 8.
Dirtybird56
Danny Shelton is the man if Beasley doesn't fall to usBackup plan is Scherff
Malachore
Going to be another boring pick and go with Schreff.
etherdome
If Dupree, Beasley, Fowler and Williams are off the board, we will not have an edge rusher worth the pick. Would a WR be a wise choice? Probably not. An OG, not really? Here is the CBS draft prospect ranking. It looks a lot like most media outlets. 1 *Leonard Williams DT 2 *Jameis Winston QB 1 3 *Marcus Mariota QB 2 4 *Amari Cooper WR 1 5 *Dante Fowler Jr. OLB 6 Vic Beasley OLB 2 7 Kevin White WR 2 8 Brandon Scherff OT 1 9 *Trae Waynes CB 1 10 Danny Shelton DT 2 11 *Todd GurleyInjured RB 12 DeVante Parker WR 3 13 Alvin Dupree DE 1 14 *Melvin Gordon RB 2 15 *Andrus Peat OT 2 16 *Randy Gregory DE 2 17 *Breshad Perriman WR 18 La'el Collins OT 3 If we don't trade out of our position, Gurley may be the best fit on the board. Jarod_Briggs2
Now it looks like we may have to do something that a lot of people won't like. And that's to trade up. We have to get an edge rusher but with the recent things that have gone on (Gregory,Ray) that just elevates Beasley up the draft boards that much more. Maybe we do just sit tight and hope he falls to us or take the GAMBLE and get Dupree. This is actually a tough draft to figure out even though there is a lot of talent
Dirtybird56
No matter how bad some of you want it, still doesn't make Gurley our best choice
B_Lo_Touchdowns
Only 1 good edge rusher in the draft maybe MAYBE 2, pass on Schreff. Beasley Gurley or trade back

Bobby.Digital
If Beasley and Fowler are gone Gregory would be my choice. I also think we're still in a nice position to trade down to the mid teens with a team that wants one of the top 3 WRs and still land Gregory or Ray as long as we haven't removed them from our board. I know both these guys made some dumb decisions but I think taking one is a risk worth taking. Espically if we can trade down and nab one.
