Lornoth
Wonder what happens to Ish and Moore if he's drafted then.
Dirtybird56
Absolutely. Many here saw the comparison immediately
DonDaLuvMaker
Wonder what happens to Ish and Moore if he's drafted then.Moore use to play FS in collage at Missouri and was one of the best in the nation his junior year. Not sure if his range is good enough for Quinn's system, but he was a really good college FS. djbrough
Moore can play FS. He did in college and worked on some of those skills last offseason as well. I remember the organization publishing an article about it.
Falcanuck
Moore used to have more speed in College. I worry about his range at FS.
DonDaLuvMaker
Shaq's cousin Peyton Thompson was on the Falcons PS back in 2012 and 2013 I believe.
birdz4i
he d rather play lb.
DonDaLuvMaker
he d rather play lb.Yeah, but the "Kam Chancellor role" allows him to pretty much be a LB as well, just that he will be known as a rover safety.
AndySG
Moore hasn't been in college for years. He's not the same athlete anymore.
Guest Negatorris
So where would that leave WillyMo?On Injury Reserve?
DonDaLuvMaker
Moore hasn't been in college for years. He's not the same athlete anymore. He might be, just because he has been playing SS in the NFL doesn't mean that he can't play FS anymore. He could very well surprise people if he stays healthy. Jerry Maguire
It's a no-brainer. A perfect fit.
Herr Doktor
Winner winner chicken dinner. Im all about having as many head hunters as possible.
KRUNKuno
Love Shaq Thompson. His talent is obvious and he's just one of those guys you want to have on thr field because he gives you a wildcard piece yo use as you please. One of the main reasons I like Gregory is because of this ability. Guys like that need to just be put on the field and let loose.
Lornoth
Moore has gotten torched deep a lot the last few years... and I really think his strength is near the LoS. I don't like him as a cover 3 FS.
DonDaLuvMaker
Shaq would do really well in the Kam Chancellor role.He will also be much better in coverage than Chancellor is as well.
RHEC
Shaq would be last resort.
CTann
So we may have the Kam Chancellor role covered, but is there any news about "the Michael Bennett role?"I like Shaq. I'd be fine with drafting him at some point.
YoungHeezy
Funny how people made a big deal of some of the posters classifying free agents and potential draft picks as the (insert Seattle Seahawks player name) type role when the organization is doing it themselves. Romfal
he d rather play lb.Kam plays in the box about 80% of the plays similar to what a linebacker would do and considering you need to run a nickel scheme a lot these days in the NFL that makes him the 3rd LB on many plays. Granted this is something Seattle can do frequently because Earl Thomas is a beast.
trubirdfan4life
Moore can play FS. He did in college and worked on some of those skills last offseason as well. I remember the organization publishing an article about it.moore is far too slow to play free safety in any system. He will get beat deep consistently
sanfranfalcon
Moore hasn't been in college for years. He's not the same athlete anymore.exactly! Moore would have to drop 15-20lbs to even think about...and i still don't think that would get him there...just ain't a FS anymore.... HEIST
Quinn did say we'd be looking into linebackers in the draft... which is more or less what Chancellor is tbh.
Vandy
He might be, just because he has been playing SS in the NFL doesn't mean that he can't play FS anymore. He could very well surprise people if he stays healthy.Might actually help Moore injurywise to move to FS...lose 10-15 lbsI've always thought he was an option there, even if we don't draft a SS.
