dozer
Curry had 9 sacks last yr. with the Iggles. He's 26 yrs old, 6' 3 & 279 lbs. Philly Voice's Jimmy Kempski believes Eagles DE Vinny Curry could be had via trade.Curry, the 59th pick in the 2012 draft, is an imperfect fit in the Eagles' 3-4 scheme after being drafted as a pure 4-3 end by the Andy Reid regime. He played 397 snaps last season in sub-packages, receiving positive marks for his pass-rush push. Curry managed 34 combined pressures. Entering the final year of his rookie contract, Curry could probably be had for a mid-to-late-rounder. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/7531/vinny-curry I'd make the offer for a 5th maybe a 4th round pick. If Kelly wants to move up to grab his QB he needs more picks to package together to make an offer.
IronHead34
I might go a little lower than a 4th. A 5th would be ok in my book.
XXVIII-III
Apparently Quinn can turn anyone into a dominant pass rusher, so this is perfect timing for gurlie to atlantie
atlGM
I'd definitely go after him. It would give us a proven pass rusher and some added flexibility in the draft.
xskyx
Hells yeah
apl2g
A 4th or 5 would be fine with me for a proven pass rusher
FalconOdense
For a middle round pick? **** yeah. Then I would actually be okay with drafting Gurley or Collins.Best signing this off season.
Tribal Chief
Mid to late rounder, **** yeah
paulitik
Yeah, I'd like this a lot. It would give us some flexibility in the draft to where we could move back, and not have to reach at 8 if Fowler or Beasley are gone.
clownorg
He'd be a steal for a 5th
PrimitiveJN
Get him and we could wait till 2nd round to get a pass rusher. IMO. How out happens. Always wanted Curry.
Moist Words
Just looking at it on the surface I'd be all over it,We would have true draft flexibility with the #8 pick. That being said I don't know enough about Curry and where he would fit in this defense to be sure. putnam6
Would really like this, get another vet Curry and still draft another DE/OLB in 2-5 and get BPA in the 1st
DD: Objective Elite
It can't see a downside if we could grab him for a 4th, a 5th would be a no-brainer.
FalconOdense
No, I really want this. He would be a great LEO.
MattM12
bring him what?
clownorg
Come to think of it. I think a 5th would do it. the Eagles did let us take Asante off their hands for a lowly 7th
RHEC
The question is, will falcons be interested?
FalconOdense
The question is, will falcons be interested? They should be, so they are probably not.
Moist Words
I have to say after reading his scouting report he sounds like a damn near perfect fit for the LEO.Some teams projected him as a 3-4 LB and some as a 4-3 DE.I'd be completely down with this trade happening. FalconFanSince1969
I mentioned this way early in the off season and everybody said I was crazy because he had 9 sacks in a very limited role.Chip Kelly is the crazy one....
FalconFanSince1969
You guys are crazy if you think we're getting him that cheap though. He had 9 sacks while playing less than 400 snaps. He's on a rookie contract and heading into his prime. He's not 33 year old Asante making 10 mil a year.
Dirtybird56
Didnt another one of their beat writers say Mychal Kendricks could be had, too? If all this is true wtfAlso no way this happens. Whenever it makes this much sense we don't follow through
AndySG
5th and a 7th maybe? I would absolutely do this.
