Artys Arryn
So with the news of Shane Ray potentially going on the PUP to start the season, I've been thinking. I feel like there is a good possibility that Beasley, Fowler, and Dupree are off the board by 8. So what to do? What TD loves to do: trade up. Before you break out the pitchforks and torches, I understand that we need all the talent we can get, however I don't want to go into the upcoming season without a legitimate pass rusher. Don't worry though, I'm not advising we break the bank, rather something a little like this.Falcons trade 1st and 3rd to Redskins for the 5th pick. Conditional on Beasley or Williams being available1st Vic Beasley / Leonard Williams 2nd Damarious Randall FS 3rd Traded to Washington 4th Mitch Morse OG 5th Zach Zenner RB 6th Nick Marshall CB 7th DeAndre Smelter WR 7th Damien Wilson ILB Well, let me know what you think. dozer
I like your logic along with both Williams & Beasley but I'd likely stay @ 8 (or try to trade down) & take the BPA.When the run on pass rushers starts & we're on the outside looking in, I want to start looking for value & the BPA:OL, Gurley, Cooper (or White). Then go pass rusher in the 2nd round or trade back into the latter part of the 1st round.
KRUNKuno
There is nobody worth trading up in the top 10 for this year.
DoYouSeeWhatHappensLarry
I'd be okay with the move. I'd want it to look like this thoughI'd prefer we take someone like Abdullah in the 2nd, though.

sdogg
If we only give up a 3rd for Williams, I'd do it. Along with Gurley, he's the best player in this draft.
blizzard_falcon
I could live with it, though I'd rather see us trade down than trade up.Only pick I don't like is Damien Wilson in the 7th. If we're not going to upgrade on Worrilow, there's no point in drafting another middle linebacker. We already have Stupar, Bradford, and possibly Spruill behind Worrilow on the depth chart. BritFalcon
I really think there will be more offensive players going in the first seven picks this year. Just don't buy this idea that there will be a massive run on pass rushers before we get to pick
LookAboutFalcon
mocks not including Gurley are invalid.

I do see what you're saying though.

Love Abdullah, I was watching him the other day and had a Warrick Dunn flashback. Would be fine with him in the second.
Vandy
Although I would be absolutely thrilled to get Williams, we cannot afford IMO to trade away another high (3rd round) pick to get him. We have too many other depth needs

We have too many other depth needs I can respect that. I just want the pass rush fixed. If the run starts early I just don't want to be left out in the cold. I think Beasley and Williams are the only players who warrant the third.
Sponge
1st rd trade up for Williams- Absolutely.2nd rd FS- Not a bad idea but I'd rather go LB (Perryman or Kendricks) 4th- I'd go RB Yeldon if there.Good mock and I'm 100% with on the trade, which will be unpopular. Falcanuck
I'd be very OK with this. Think it would cost more, though.
Moist Words
I'd prefer not to trade away picks but if it went down like that I'd be okay with it.I've pretty much talked myself into every realistic scenario though so that isn't saying much.
