GET-ME-A-DB-TD
I know for a fact that 2 picks matt threw this season cost us those games. I remember the one he threw to Levy in the Lions game got returned for a TD but can anyone remember the other im thinking of? It ended as a one score loss and it was a pick six he threw. I LOVE our QB but can anybody find out who threw more pick sixes this year than Matt? I know he threw a min of 4 but im thinking it was like 6-

Free Radical
Why is a pick-6 a bigger knock on a QB than a regular INT? The only difference is whether or not an offensive player could make a tackle.

AndySG
Packers was a stupid one. Still, he does a lot more good than bad.
Francis York Morgan
Lions INT was one of the single worst picks I've seen in my life. Packers one was awful too. Had some real unclutch play, it's not bad to admit it. Still think he's better than 2010 through most-of-2012, that stretch was rough to watch imo. Lots of cautious play. Not like this is anything new. Remember the Cardinals game in 2012 too?

GET-ME-A-DB-TD
Ok i did a little more research..Steelers game...pick six thrown to william gay...lost by 7Packers game...morgan burnette returns to the 15 yd line...resulted in TDPanthers game...pick sixes thrown to roman harper AND tre boston. Lions game...Rashean Mathis 102 yard td return called back for PI..Vaughn pick returned to 7...3 ptsI guess the flip side to this is that we CAN NOT bring someone down once theyve picked it. We only lost one game that Matt didnt throw a pick in (baltimore). Every other game where no int's were thrown...we won! Maybe another OT with the 1st is the answer? GET-ME-A-DB-TD
Well lets break out the crayons. If we only lost one game where no picks were thrown, and matt threw 28 points worth of walk touchdowns to other teams(threw another in the cards game), and has given up ANOTHER 35 points AT LEAST(got tired of looking after i found 7 tds off his picks) then maybe we have bigger problems than a pass rush. He has 0 dump off options, no 88 to go to when the play breaks down, has resorted to favre'ing it when in trouble and gets TRASHED by charles johnson every time we play Carolina. Honestly Ryan played EXACTLY like he just got a pay day. Alot of them do it. I would like to see Ryan throw 10 or less picks in a season before we decide to set up camp and say a D will fix all our problems. If Schreader doesnt pan out and we dont fix the tackle position thats in his periphreal vision at the snap, were in for more of the same. GET-ME-A-DB-TD
Also, he only had 6 games in 2013 with no picks, we had 4 wins...3 of them he had no picks. Ignore it if we want i guess
UnrealfalcoN
are we still griping about a season that is not the current one in which we had one of the worst running attacks and THE worst defense in the league while being riddled with injuries?and you want us to talk about INTs? let it go... Jigglypuff
I guess the flip side to this is that we CAN NOT bring someone down once theyve picked it. lmao so we need to recruit WRs that can tackle???????????
Free Radical
Ryan throw 10 or less picks in a seasonPeyton Manning has only had one single digit INT season. Tom Brady has averaged 10 INTs a season for the past four seasons, and was higher before that. Drew Brees has thrown double digit INTs every season for over a decade. If your QB has to literally be perfect for an entire season, then you aren't winning a Lombardi. GET-ME-A-DB-TD
Rothlisberger had 9 games with no int's...think rodgers had like 13 and not gonna mention brady and mannings numbers. Kyle Orton even had 5 games with no picks and he only played 12. Kaepernick had 10 games with no picks. All im sayin is can we get like a freakin 3 game streak without a pick from the walking bank known as Matty ice?

Matt Ryan Was one of the Best QBs Last year And the year before that and before that been in the top since his roockie Season.... Remember his first NFL Pass??? Yep... that went for a Touch down.... only 2 other QBs ever Do that and those are HOFs. And Matts was the Longest of the 3 I think but dont Quote me. Why are we bringing up mistakes he threw a week before the Draft? We dont need a QB... wont for another 10 years hopefully. And In Ryans Defense in the Lions Games... I bet none orof ypu could stand up and throw a decent pass with 3 Lineman in your face. He threw it away but didnt see the defender. Was it a bad throw yes and no... if the defender that he didnt see wasnt there it would have been an 3 n out idf he would have held onto the ball he would have been sacked. Possible injured. Or the int... which happened. No... that was a doable sided blade no matter what he did. The oline that play failed him.
GET-ME-A-DB-TD
We can have an AMAZING defense but if were almost guaranteed to give them an extra possesion (possibly in our own territory or inside our own 20), its just too much to ask of any team
GET-ME-A-DB-TD
Look the point was not to throw stones but for whatever reason whenever we throw a pick, half the time it either ends up ran all the way back or back down into scoring position. I feel like much more than any other team.
