birdman71
Nope. A 30YR Old back is not worth a 2nd pick. Edited April 21, 2015 by birdman71
FentayeJones
Minnesota will want more than that.

DonOfThemBirds
Alford may be too small for the Vikings liking. He is also not that proven as a reliable starter.
DonOfThemBirds
Still wouldn't make the trade.

Knight of God
The thing about 30 is all well and good, but only partially correct.http://www.sportingcharts.com/articles/nfl/best-running-back-seasons-by-30plus-year-olds.aspx
Beast-N-Da-Sheetz
Umm... I think I would. I like Alford, but when he and Tru contracts are up, he probably won't be brought back. AP might be good for another 2-3 yrs before a noticeable decline. I'm still not comfortable with a 30 yr old rb with a huge contract. hjerry
I don't want to lose essentially 2 2nds (Alford was a 2nd and you'll have to replace him), for a RB that, will cost over 10 million, and that we'll get, at best, 3 years out of. He ccould have been taken in the 4th rd imo.
Oldskooler
Atlanta receives RB Adrian PetersonMinnesota receives CB Robert Alford and 2016 2nd rounder?I wouldn't take AP for free, or if they PAID us to take him. There's already a thread on why.

PHALCONABERNATHY
Yeah, I would. They'd want more than that id imagine though. The thing about Peterson to me is he's 30 years old but he's missed a lot of time from injury and suspension. I think he still has more in his tank than given credit for.
