Unknøwn
Mets have won 8 in a row and are in first place at 10-3. They just swept a 4 game set from Miami. Braves called up Ian Thomas to replace McKirahan.
CrimsonFalcon
I thought Thomas would have made the team anyway from his performance last year.
dmite
Might be a rough first 2 games here. Hopefully these two starters surprise me.

Falconsfan567
I just don't get the Braves strategy here, you've had an off day and can skip either Cahill or Stults and throw Teheran and Wood in the series so that there's an actual chance at winning it and yet they're not doing either. Hello!!! I don't care that its only April, these games count just as much as the ones in September. Just stupid to me that you wouldn't give yourself the best chance to be successful. Falconsfan567
It looked to me like Teheran could use the day. Why? I didn't see any of the Toronto games but I know he didn't pitch well but he was fine in his other 2 starts.
Unknøwn
Teheran was far from sharp in Toronto. He was throwing meatballs
jidady
He had absolutely nothing on his pitches. It was alarming.

Unknøwn
Fredi said they discussed skipping someone but they decided Cahill and Stults need to stay fresh and the other 3 need the extra rest with a long stretch coming up

Unknøwn
Joe Simpson ripped McKirahan on the pregame show. Questioned his morals and character. Fredi basically called McKirahan stupid in his interview.

If they don't improve in the next few weeks, they'll be gone and you'll get your wish. The guys in the minors are the Braves future, no need to rush them up.
