Eric Weddle Holding Out

Nope, no trade rumor here, so no click bait. I probably wouldn't mind though.

Chargers FS Eric Weddle skipped the first day of voluntary workouts Monday.
Weddle, 30, wants a contract extension as he enters the final year of a five-year, $40 million deal and is set to earn a $7.5 million salary. "I feel highly, highly disrespected," Weddle said. "... It is what it is, but there is no reason for me to put out any more effort." The Chargers have been trying to reach out to Philip Rivers about an extension and, to this point, have ignored Weddle's requests. Apr 20 - 8:09 PM

Didn't he just get done saying that he was happy, and didn't want a new contract and/or trade?

Bruh he said that because news got out .. I dont think he asked for a trade but i think his "representatives" went to the media and threw that out there if they cant redo the deal

LOL...what would you do if we gave a first for AP and a 4th for Bennett?

I think we would be nuts to give up a first for AP.... Dude is not 26... He is 30 man... Even if he has 3 awesome years in him.... We need to build towards the now and the future.... I would rather draft gurley and i hate drafting a 1st round RB with a passion

I would EASILY give a 4th round pick for Bennett ... Its a mid round pick.... You are not finding Bennett type production in the 4th round

****, I'd probably give our 2nd for Bennett. Considering his familiarity with Quinn, he'd be worth more here than anywhere in the league.

ROFLMBO!!! I think I may be enjoying all of this more than I thought. The draft is going to be pretty fun.

So believe what they do, rather than what they say?

yep
