There have been no other reported interest in any of these other backs by the team. Could mean something or maybe not. There have been no other reported interest in any of these other backs by the team. Could mean something or maybe not.The backs we've had the most interest in so far are Ameer Abdullah and Mike Davis, both short but not exactly small. Wouldn't be surprised with either and both could put on another 5-10 lbs and fit this criteria.Think Malcolm will be our guy but I like Yeldon and Ajayi too.Hope not. AtlantaFanatic
I'd be more shocked at us not taking a RB with the first 4 picks of our draft than I would be if we took Kevin White at #8.
Sheldon Cooper
Good work. The most interesting stat is that the two best backs had the two worst 40's and were RD 6 and UDFA. The two worst backs were the two best 40's and two of the three highest picks. Bottom line, disregard 40 time and remember that you can get a starter late or after the fact. AtlantaFanatic
And isn't the knock on Yeldon his tiny hands. I don't watch a ton of college ball so I'm not sure about him. Can he catch? Does he have fumbling problems?
Francis York Morgan
Does he have fumbling problems?Hehe, does he...you better believe it. If not for that I'd say just take him in the second and be done with it.
AtlantaFanatic
Hehe, does he...you better believe it. If not for that I'd say just take him in the second and be done with it.So if that's the case and it's not because of technique but of small hands (can't teach) then why would we want to see him drop the ball on the ground for us? Atlfanstckndenver
Great post sky. This is exactly how I view the Shanahan rb system. He definitely has a "type." I look for these guys every year in fantasy football when a Shanahan led offense is looking for a new rb. It's won me many a championships too. I digress though. Well done sir.
