SaintsBountyBowlChamps
He is nothing but a work-out warrior, shades of Vernon Gholston. Before the combine he was a late 1st rounder and all of a sudden he is a top 5 pick? Please. Nothing changes the fact that he is a severely flawed prospect. And a significantly lesser prospect than Ray, Gregory, Fowler. Whoever takes him is going to be very, very disappointed. Hopefully it's not the Falcons. HEIST
The main thing dropping him was his weight, so when he went to the combine 10 pounds heavier than listed and still put up the best numbers, he shot up boards instantly because his film was already good. He's still pretty bad in run defense but that won't keep him out of the top 10... or top 5 for that matter.
Butudontseeme™
No. Beasley shows an elite first step, and some pass rushing moves including a spin move that is underutilized but very effective. Beastley's knock is tackling, which Dan Quinn can correct.
WOR
- Beasley fansThe only analysis you gave was "he's Vernon gholston". You didn't say why. You didn't say why he'd bust. You didn't say why he sucks. No. The derp was definitely referring to you.

Oldskooler
I'm not a Beasley fan' but calling him a Gholston-esque "workout warrior" is just idiotic. Beasley had a TON of collegiate production to back up his Combine numbers.I believe that he is fairly likely to be limited to a third down pass rusher specialist role in the NFL, but even that isn't a sure thing.I think my Dupree advocacy is well documented. But even I have to laugh at a post like this. Beasley is a heck of a player, and if we get him I will not be (majorly) disappointed.
WOR
Weight was a factor but definitly not his main problem. He is a one trick pony that gets snuffed out very easily. Combine that with his atrocious run D and he is very underwhelming. Nothing but hype. The combine changed nothing. He is nothing but your proto-typical workout warrior.I honestly don't think you know what a prototypical workout warrior is.
Francis York Morgan
Dunno how someone liking a football player is somehow "disturbing," but yknow. You do you. Beasley is one of very few prospects in this class I feel 100% on so I'm done arguing with people about him. If he's in the red and black you'll change your tune. Beastley's knock is tackling, which Dan Quinn can correct. If you believe Quinn can improve Beasley's tackling, do you believe he can instill a spin and a dip&rip into Dupree's repertoire? And if he can (as I believe), wouldn't that make Dupree, at 270 pounds and better in coverage, the better prospect?
Oldskooler
both are for me but Dupree is worstThus proving you both completely dismissable and irrelevant. Both have a LOT of production to justify their draft status even without the Combine.I honestly don't think you know what a prototypical workout warrior is.This. HEIST
They are both workout warriors. Problem is Beasley is being touted as a top 5 pick which is laughable to say the least.Beasley has at least shown to have moves, including a lethal inside spin move. Dupree is just meh on the field right now. If we take him, I hope the simplistic scheme and Quinn's coaching helps him develop FAST.
Tuggle'2
Naw, a monkey born with a butt as a face is disturbing. People liking Beasley is just fans being fans.

I honestly haven't watched much of Dupree but his measures led are definitely off the chart. I wouldn't be disappointed picking Dupree but, if possible would prefer a trade down for him because I feel he can be had later than
MasterBateser
If he is so bad at stopping the run please show me a video that proves this.
WOR
Beasley had 33 sacks and 53 tackles for loss. Thats the exact opposite of a workout warrior.
Francis York Morgan
I vote we turn this thread into a sexy Beasley gif thread where we can also talk about what we want for dinner. I'm thinking about just a snack night, homemade guac and chips, mozzarella sticks.Might even make up some fruit salad. Have some leftover pineapple I cut up.I'm willing to bend the rules a bit for a snack day, same way Beasley bends the corner all smooth-like. Maybe break out a Belgian triple or two and just relax on the futon. That'd be a nice spin on things. What are you all in the mood for? Smiler11
Beasley was the 2nd rated pass rusher behind Gregory at the start of the season and for whatever reason, probably doubts about his athleticism and size, he fell behind the likes of Fowler and Shane Ray. There was never any doubt about his talent on the field and after the combine his stock has shot back up again.
Knight of God
I find the Gregory love disturbing. Having a questionable combine and having character concerns doesn't mean you'll be any good.

Crushing bull rush to sack the QB in around 2 seconds:Beasley nailing his speed rush and finishing with a rip on Cam Erving, who will likely go in the mid-late first:Beating a double team against Erving and the RB with a mixture of strength, lateral agility, and sheer athleticism:Any more? The detractors are goofy, dude has to literally do it all apparently.
