Mychal Kendricks

Recommended Posts

CSN Philly's Andrew Kulp would be "mildly surprised" if Eagles ILB Mychal Kendricks is not traded "before or during the draft."

Kulp is just connecting dots, but he draws a very interesting picture. Even though he is entering the last year of his rookie deal, the Eagles have yet to approach Kendricks about an extension, but they did extend DeMeco Ryans for another year. Philadelphia also acquired Kiko Alonso in the LeSean McCoy trade, and have been courting inside linebackers in the pre-draft process. It is unclear why the Eagles would want to rid themselves of a budding superstar like Kendricks, but Chip Kelly has already proven he is willing to part ways with star players at the drop of a hat.

This dude is way better than a solid player. I'd give them a 3rd easily. I don't see what reason there could possibly be for Philly to deal him though. His brother won't be as good as he is in my opinion.

Kelly has done alot of questionable roster moves so far

That would be a big addition to the defense.

Mychal Kendricks can do it all as in tackle, cover, and even rush the QB.

One of the most athletic LBs in the NFL and he is fast. He would be a great fit in Quinn's defense.

He is only 24 years old and has tremendous upside.

I don't understand what in the heII Chip Kelly is doing.

I would have no problem trading with PHI:

The following scenarios:

1. Mariotta is available at #8 (VERY UNLIKELY): Trade #8 for #20, #52 and Mychal Kendricks...

2. PHI selects LB in the 1st or 2nd rounds, trade #107 (4) and #226 (7) for Mychal Kendricks...

Yes he has. I think they have all been pretty well so far.

Not breaking the bank for Maclin when you have tons of WRs in this draft.

Getting rid of McCoys big cap hit and then getting a pro bowl level LB who is dirt cheap for the next two years.

Adding Murray who will be a better runner than McCoy

Resigning Brandon Graham was huge and not many expected that

I just don't see why you'd get rid of Kendricks. He's proven, young, and a fit for their defense. But i'd be all for trading for him. Coverage LB's are at a premium and he is one of the best in the league.

This is beyond conjecture. He's formulating this opinion based on the fact that he hasn't been extended. "Because the team hasn't extend the player yet, he must be on the trading block". Just stupid.

The Eagles just got Kiko Alonzo in the McCoy trade and just extended DeMeco Ryans.

Kendricks could very well be up for trade, or be involved in a draft day trade.
