atlGM
I have mixed feelings towards him as our starting Tackle going foward. I like the fact that he has come in as an UDFA and given production but it seems that he has either been above average or really bad as starter.I know we have a need at guard now that blayocks gone but would we be better served by taking a tackle early on?*disclaimer* This thread was created to curb my draft crush for Cedric Ogbuehi. He was my favorite RT prospect in last year's draft and would pair nicely with Jake Matthews. Edited April 18, 2015 by atlGM

YoungHeezy
I'm not quite sure how he'll fit into zone blocking. Preseason will give me a better look but from what I remember he wasn't that athletic in space.
delaigle
About a month ago there was a thread which point out some rating organization (PFF or other) had rated Schraeder as the 3rd best pass blocking RT in the entire NFL for the 2014 regular season.I did not verify that report. If it is true -----why would you bench him--unless he just can't learn to run block
Beast-N-Da-Sheetz
I'm not as giddy about him as some people around here are. He needs real competition.

likeriver
Shaerder balled hard last year, maybe better than anyone, at least according to PFF scores. I don't know what attributes exactly make a good zone blocking lineman, but I think he's a viable option for starter.

delaigle
I'm not as giddy about him as some people around here are. He needs real competition.Right now there are 17 O-linemen on the roster. If it were up to me I would try VERY HARD to upgrade the top 9.
Jesus
Seems like a nice enough guy but honestly, I've never met him.
delaigle
The entire season? How many games did he start? He started 10 pl;ayed in 13I don't think they rate by # games but by so many downs played--you have to have a minimum number of downs to qualifystill I have seen ratings where players who just do qualify rate higher than full time starters.more downs more chance of getting rated up OR Down

RYNE
I think he will be ok. He shows flashes of great play, and sometime gets whooped. But overall I like him.I wouldn't be upset if we upgraded however

Francis York Morgan
He was a guy I was rooting for before the draft so I was thrilled when we picked him up. Still in his corner. He has lapses, but when he's good he's terrific. Dude is a UDFA who was playing at Valdosta State before the NFL, two years in the NFL with that competition leap and he's already able to dominate some DEs? I'd rather we let him continue to develop instead of looking for a replacement two years in. Definition of a UDFA gem.

Hashbrown3
Definitely a keeper. Getting better each year. Get a guy like Scherff who can shred at both G & T and we'll be in the groove.

Clark Kent™
Hard worker Athletic (should be a better run blocker in ZBS)Mean (was a beast on Hard Knocks)Played at a high level in 10 games last seasonAnd he was pretty raw. I think the arrow is pointing straight up for Schraeder. Especially with the switch to ZBS where his run blocking could really improve. The only question I have is to see him do it again.
