DarrellShropshire
Whatever pass rusher we get at 8, he will be the final 'pillar' pick.In today's passing league, the 5 pillars are:Franchise QB - Matt RyanElite WR - Julio JonesFranchise LT - Jake MatthewsSacking Edge Rusher - #8 pick Shutdown CB - Desmond TrufantIs there ANY team that can say they have all these positions covered? Outside of Ryan, they are all not even in their prime yet!TD has built a team with a lot of 'pillars'. This team isn't built for a 2 year window, but built for the long haul. With a defensive minded HC and a offensive guru at OC, we will see this team soar to new heights over the next few years!

Captain Insano
I'd honestly say a RB would be a pillar...I know this is a passing league now but you gotta have that guy who can pick up the 3rd and 1s..something we have lacked for a while (early Turner years)
HEIST
Damarious Randall AKA Earl Thomas 2.0Earl Thomas 2.0 is not going early second in one of the worst safety classes in a long time.

Great RBs are found every year in 2nd-4th rounds. What we have are 5 positions that go verrry high in the draft usually. Top 10 matter of fact. Even though Tru was a late 1st rounder, he was a steal and would easily go top 3 if he was in this draft, as he is right now.

Thomas was a highly touted prospect, but Randall plays eerily similar to Thomas. Plays very fast, and has top notch instincts.

I wouldn't be mad at all if we take him in the 2nd. My dream scenario is if Beasley and Fowler are off the board trade down with the Dolphins (they have strong interest in the top 3 WRs) pick up there 2nd. Hope Gregory falls nab him with our 1st then go Randall and Marpet in round 2.

Matthews got his as handed to him last year and is coming off a Lisfranc. Yall boys have already raised the RoH bloodline flag. Ten sacks have already been penciled in for the rookie edge rusher.I've been watching the Atlanta Football Falcons for a long time. When we had franchise RBs, we won games. Riggs got caught up in the late eighties vortex, but the other franchise backs helped us win games. We've been to the playoffs 12 times. We had a franchise back in 10 of those years. We had Bubba and Broussard in the other two.Andrews - 1979-1986 (6) - 8633 yards, 4.6 ypc, 41 TDsRiggs - 1982-1988 (7) - 8015 yards, 4.2 ypc, 48 TDsAnderson - 1994-2001 (8) - 6981 yards, 4.0 ypc, 41 TDsDunn - 2002-2007 (6) - 7616 yards, 4.2 ypc, 36 TDsTurner - 2008-2012 (5) - 6538 yards, 4.3 ypc, 61 TDsWise up mofos. JJC28
I just want that pick at 8 to be a starter not a guy that will share time with 7 other guys. We are not going to get Fowler or Williams. Edited April 17, 2015 by JJC28

RBs grow on trees, if you just invest a 2nd or 3 rd rounder, and find the right scheme fit. Devonta Freeman could easily get 1k yards this year. The ZBS is perfect for him. JJC28
I will say the starting Rb will be a FA. And will share time with Freeman. Freeman is not a 3 down back can not block a lick.
Francis York Morgan
Most underrated position on Superbowl winning teams is FS. Need an elite FS on defense. Kinda tempted to say it's more important for us at this stage than LEO. Only FS I think have that potential in the draft are Rowe and Collins though, maybe Byron Jones but I don't think so. Randall can be really good but I don't see the Earl Thomas comparisons.
atlGM
Damarious Randall AKA Earl Thomas 2.0I really want to like radall he just doesn't have the size compete in run defense. Guys like Thomas and Byrd have a little more bulk to their frame both weighing above 200lbs. Randall has Great coverage skills but looks like he's barely closer to 190lbs rather than the 196 he has been listed at
