XXVIII-III
LAUGH OUT LOUD! Nebraska linebacker and presumptive first-round draft pick Randy Gregory is used to rushing the quarterback, but following a visit to the New Orleans Saints, he found himself backpedaling. From criticism, that is.His mistake? Being critical of New Orleans on social media:Idk what the big deal about new Orleans is. Seems pretty boring to me lol wrong time of year maybe??1:53 AM - 14 Apr 2015 New Orleans, LA, United StatesHere's our suggestion: hit a few local restaurants in one of America's best towns to find a meal, and try to add some weight to the 235-pound frame that some NFL scouts believe might be too thin. But apparently, some of the Gregory's Twitter replies weren't quite so constructive:Since twitter turns things into something its not...my last tweet was not directed towards the team in anyway. SORRY FOLKS.2:21 AM - 14 Apr 2015 New Orleans, LA, United StatesGregory had some more back-and-forth exchanges with those who took offense to his impression of New Orleans, but the impression that matters most is the one he made on the Saints. New Orleans holds the No. 13 overall, pick, and NFL Media analyst Lance Zierlein projects the club to use it on Gregory.Gregory, by now, is no doubt used to explaining himself. Since admitting in an interview with NFL.com three weeks ago that he failed a drug test at the NFL Scouting Combine, Gregory has been under all the more scrutiny, and has had to establish a new trust with NFL coaches and executives. Once considered a potential top-five pick, Gregory is now expected to fall out of the top 10 in the draft, according to NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah.http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000485352/article/randy-gregory-calls-new-orleans-boring

Wouldn't be a bad haul if we pulled those two in the first two rounds. (IF Gregory were to fall that far and the other top pass rushers are off the board)
clownorg
can't blame the Dude for speaking his mind.Sorry to say no matter how much some folks love the city. is it really inconceivable for someone else to think it's a **** hole?

newgafatboy
not that I'm the curfew police, but someone that stands to make millions of dollars in a few weeks, is out at 2AM in a strange city, looking for something to get into? maybe i'm nit picking the kid, but you'd think he'd be more concerned about his perceived character than to be 1) out on the town at 2am and 2) complaining that there wasnt anything going on. i mean i stay out late shooting pool sometime but i dont have millions riding on my choices, or coaches and GM picking my life apart. not the brightest light in the box if you ask me. Sun Tzu 7
Ok so he should be locked in his bedroom till hes drafted? If he wants to be a 1st round pick and make millions of dollars....It's a free country and he can do what he wants but if he wants to get a job getting paid millions of dollars the rules are a little different. newgafatboy
Ok so he should be locked in his bedroom till hes drafted? that's totally his call, but you'd think he'd be smart enough to 1) refrain a few weeks until after the draft and 2) dont freaking air it out on twitter. Beast-N-Da-Sheetz
As much as I hate the Saints, I love New Orleans. There is nothing boring about that city. I guess it depends on what you consider fun. Me, I like to gamble at Harrahs, get drunk and talk sh!t on Bourbon St, or burn one and hop on the riverboat across Mississippi river. Plus the food is on a whole other level. All that will make you forget how run-down the city looks and the fact that it smells like a sewer drain.
