chazbykr
Some interesting options to consider. Many would be very good imo if the trades were worked out.http://www.foxsports.com/south/photos/6-ways-the-falcons-could-pass-on-a-pass-rusher-at-no-8-041515

Francis York Morgan
#6 is funny. It looks like Dimitroff is looking at the article on his phone, thinking "what the helI am I reading"
chazbykr
#6 is funny. Actually with this draft being as strong as it is, this might play out to be the best option.
Tribal Chief
Only way drafting flowers makes any sense is if Baker is gone. Flowers is legit
Tribal Chief
Nabbing leonard Williams would make up for missing out on Beasley but don't know about trading up 5 spots. Would be nice if it were a perfect world and he just fell into the birds lap
g-dawg
Actually with this draft being as strong as it is, this might play out to be the best option.maybe but it is nothing that has ever been done in Atlanta Falcons history and it is the antithesis of Thomas Dimitroff - who always gets locked in on one player in the first round. We will know things really are different if we see Falcons trading down multiple times.

But a trade to 20 with Eagles could be an interesting haul of picks--particularly if it's Mariota.

cdboard47
That would be great to trade back with the Eagles and take full advantage of Kelly, but I mean how realistic is it that Mariota is even there for the Jets at 6 let alone to us at 8. I think our more realistic trade partners are Cleveland, San Fran, or Miami if Cooper is there at 8 and someone falls in love (49s)

Titans, Skins, Jets, Bears and Rams all have top 10 picks and could use a QB.

Lol but he was choosing at 29 or better
citsalp
The Titans are not going to draft a QB. IMHO

If Whisenhunt is hitching his wagon to Mettenberger hes beggng to get fired.

If Whisenhunt is hitching his wagon to Mettenberger hes beggng to get fired.I think Whis is trying to auction this pick to the highest bidder and it seems to be an ever increasing bid as Mariota's stock is some how soaring lmao even though he was already touted top 2. Falcon Fanatic
Actually with this draft being as strong as it is, this might play out to be the best option. Not with TD pulling the strings it would be the worst option unless we want players drafted in the early rounds nobody would else would draft until the fifth round or later. gazoo
I think its probable we will trade down. We could pick up an edge rusher, DB and RB in the first two rounds....then we could grab an OL, WR and TE in rounds 3-5.
trubirdfan4life
If we could trade down twice in the first, now that would be incredible. Trade back to 10 or so, then trade back again to 17 or so and take the best player there at that point and have a couple seconds and a couple 3rds and fill this roster with talent for the long haul
Sponge
Trade back to 20 w/ Eagles, gain a 2nd rd this year and a first next year, draft Gurley @ 20, and the 2 BPA on Defense in the 2nd rd.2016 two 1st rd. picks would be DE. Since this is a 2-3 year defensive rebuild, this would be a great for The Falcons while picking up their RB of the future. I'm not a Gurley wh0re btw.
