FalconOdense
This is one impressive mock. One comment. If Gurley is available in the second I take him. In this scenario I would even think about trading back into the first round for Landon Collins. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25149011
AMERICAN NIGHTMARE
i would go nuts if Fowler is there at 8!
Sui_Generis
I'm not a fan of drafting Gurley in the first round, but if we pass him up with the second pick then they are just goofy.
FentayeJones
I thought it was a decent 7 round mock but he didnt have us taking a RB. I also didnt like the Kevin White (CB) pick in the 5th and Gurley definitely is not going to fall to pick 53. Monolith2001
All these Mocks just demonstrate that everyone is 100% guessing. Cannot wait for draft.
AtlantaFanatic
This has to be the most wacky mock I've seen so far. He's got potential top 10 guys (Shane Ray) falling to the late first round and the a much better RB than many first round picks in Gurley going all the way to the middle of the second round. Our defense would improve dramatically if this is the way it happened but I highly doubt we don't take a RB before round 4. papachaz
3 WR in the first 7 picks? When pigs flyI usually read the comments here before I waste time reading someone's mock draft (guesses). This is why I won't bother reading it, sounds like yet another clueless mocker focker..........
UnrealfalcoN
It'll ruin my day is Danny Shelton falls to the Aints
AndySG
I would trade back and try to end up with Gregory/Dupree, Landon Collins, Todd Gurley, Phillip Dorset and Ali Marpet.
DoYouSeeWhatHappensLarry
I don't understand the Landon Collins thing.....do people just look at the "S" and think he's a fit?
Halsey.
Gurley falling to 55 because of an ACL tear? Someone tell this guy it's 2015.
AndySG
I don't understand the Landon Collins thing.....do people just look at the "S" and think he's a fit? He would be a fit at SS and allow us to move on from Moore, who hasn't been healthy or particularly impressive for a while.
DoYouSeeWhatHappensLarry
He would be a fit at SS and allow us to move on from Moore, who hasn't been healthy or particularly impressive for a while.Meh. I'm not looking to move on from a quality player with a good enough backup in Ish. Especially when we're transitioning to a system that plays to both players' strengths. If we were in a trade down scenario where we created extra draft capital, I'd probably be fine doing something like that. But trading up for that sort of marginal improvement seems like a pretty wasteful move. The FS in this system is hyper-important. If we're going safety hunting, it's gotta be for someone that can play centerfield.
DoYouSeeWhatHappensLarry
Gurley falling to 55 because of an ACL tear? Someone tell this guy it's 2015.It's never ever this simple. I don't think he'll be there at 35 let alone 55 but the idea that all of a sudden ACLs are no big deal is a mistake. Individual anatomy forces you to be exceedingly careful with stuff like this. DMT11
ALip marpet in round 5 nah - too many guards that are below him picked ahead - not sure why he went this route.
Knight of God
Okay, I have to explain this as though people are 5yr olds.At runningback we have Freeman, Antone. Wingo, and Jerome Smith. I don't see much competition here.
paulitik
No way Gurley falls that far.
R.U.N.n.G.U.N.2
I just want to put it out there that freakish athleticism doesn't make freakish football players. Trust the tapes, not the combine numbers.
Guest Negatorris
I can't see a scenario where the Falcons pass on Gurley if he's there in the 2nd.
