2015: Gimme Three Guys, Boom Or Bust

So, all of us remember some guys we had a gut feeling about, and we were sure they'd be stars or busts. So, let's list them here for 2015. Name three guys people are talking about that you believe will be stars, and three who will be busts. Mine are...

Boom:

Justin Hardy, Paul Dawson, and yes, I'll be the first, Todd Gurley. If healthy, I believe they each bring big time potential to the field. Especially Hardy, who I rate very highly.

Bust:

La'el Collins, Jameis Winston, Shaq Thompson. I actually have bust anxiety about the top three pass rushers, but these three just look like their abilities won't translate to the pro's. Tampa would be wise to take Mariota, whose mental makeup is way above Winston's, imo.

I wont include Gregory in this at all.

Boom:

Maxx Williams...has that Gronk demeanor with Witten style of play.

T.J. Yeldon...best vision out of all the backs. He just knows how to play football. Flying under the radar a la Demarco Murray.

Trae Waynes...Richard Sherman potential in plain sight.

Boom:

Xavier Cooper. 1st round talent will likely be there in the 3rd or 4th.

Byron Jones. Maybe the most talented CB/FS prospect in the class, combine just confirmed his freakishness.

Ameer Abdullah. All he does is prove people wrong. He's working hard on the ball security issues.

Bust:

Andrus Peat. Dude is soft.

Dante Fowler. Dude is mediocre.

Benardrick McKinney. Dude doesn't know how to play football.

Yeldon is an intriguing play for sure. Also, I always liked Murray. I remember texting my Cowgirl fan brother about what a steal they had made with that pick.

Boom: Shane Ray, Dorial Green Beckham, Vic Beasley

Bust: Marcus Mariota, Kevin White (specifically based off of his 1 year wonder status at the moment), Landon Collins (only if asked to play FS. I think he'll do great as SS)

I almost had White on my list, too. I'd make him fourth if I was naming four. I don't get a good vibe from him. DGB is a good boom guy if you're going bold prediction.

I've been wanting to do some research on Cooper.

Think you'd like him. There are several of his games on DB, a few others on DailyMotion and YouTube, a few full games floating around. He's very impressive. Here's his game against Oregon.

Liking what I see already.

I've been so focused on guys that we've been working out or meeting with that I haven't paid cooper any attention. But his numbers always stood out to me.
