peterpiper
Jaws on ESPN said he thinks TB is taking Mariotta. He said Winston is a "lumbering" QB that teams would just line up and blitz. I still think TB takes Winston in 2nd round and they take Williams #1.

Kayoh
So apparently Jaws only watches televised FSU games and nothing after that, because the only similarities between Jameis and Byron are that they're both big, thick framed black QBs with a long wind up for a release. Problem there though is that Jameis has already reworked his mechanics to a point that the wind up is gone, his release is much more compact now. The only reason he had the wind up in the first place is because of the fact that he was playing baseball every year between football seasons, and now he never has to worry about that again. ATLFalcons11
I could see it. And for those saying he changing his mechanics. Its easy to change them when its not game time. The second panic sets in you go with what you know best. We havent seen the last of his terrible mechanicsWell it's called practice.Constant practice builds muscle memory. He will probably continue to practice his throwing motion to the point where muscle memory kicks in and he doesn't throw the old way anymore. In this instance he will not resort back to the old because he has re-trained his body.
Knight of God
I don't think Winston will be much either. Jaws, however, seems to have it out for black QB's.
Bobby.Digital
I feel bad with any team that takes Mariota. He will bust.
HaRdH3ad
Lol jaws is right. Dude has a long wind up. Just because he won in college doesn't mean he will in the nfl some of you need 2 get that in your heads especially on a team like Tampa bay with no line. But I fail to see much comparison at all between Winston and Leftwich as QBs, other than they both are black Edited April 15, 2015 by Vandy

Winston is pretty dam good at reading defenses, recognizing blitzes, and checking down. That's why he's compared to Manning by some people. Jaws is being stupid again. Does he still want Foles over Wilson? Gabbert over everybody? He also loved Geno Smith. I haven't taken Jaws serious in years. Jameis could be the next great qb, but he won't be because he'll ruin it for himself.
AndySG
Wasn't it Jaws who thought that Kaepernick was the best QB ever?

RYNE
Jaws is a moron. I do see some JaMarcus Russell tendencies in Winston however. But Winston will be better I think
Falcanuck
Personally, I think the Leftwich comparison is dead on.

direwolf
I honestly dont see either QB being much of anything. They are the best of a bad draft class for QBs Yeah, I think so, too. Teams needing QBs have to hate drafts like this. Fortunately, they changed the rookie pay scale so that making a mistake at QB isn't nearly as devastating as it used to be.
