ATL_DirtyBirds
I see a lot of people on the Ray Drew train and he is likely to go in the 5th. There is another player that is better than him and can be had either in the 7th or as an UDFA. His name is Bobby Richardson and he has the same versatility as Babs. He can play either DE or DT. He gets good penetration in the run game and pass game. Unlike Babs though, he is a good tackler and he can also chase down plays. Would love for the Falcons to look at this guy and sign him as an UDFA. He will be a steal.
Atlfanstckndenver
He very well could wind up drafted. If it was a late pick flyer id be all for it. The only problem is he would immediately have a small shot at making the roster with the sheer number of inside d line players we have. If there was a guy they liked just as much at a position of need , I'd rather go with the guy that has more of a chance at making, let alone having an impact on the team. Then again this is no longer a Smith led team, so we'll see. Sheldon Cooper
He appears to have long arms which he uses well to wrap up and strong hands to fight through blocks rather quickly, but he grossly lacks in ability to change direction, closing burst, and locating the ball all of which render him poor at finishing. He is a lot like Babinaux in that he will get himself into position to make plays but fail to do so unless it is run right at him. Richardson might do a better job of wrapping up on plays run right at him. He will be exploited by run option.
WOR
Can he tackle?
Da_Truth
I like, I like! Our DL would improve tremendously with the addition of Richardson.
gHost83
Nice find OP. This guy clearly has some major upside. Almost 35 inch arms and uses them along with his powerful hands to beat tackles and guards consistantly. Nice 3T that can replace Peters production. Would really like this pick in the 6th or later. BleedBlack&Red
Nice find but Babs cannot play DE. You can reveal yourself Nolan.
1989Fan
So this guy will be a UDFA AND be better than Babinueax?Sounds about right.
JRid
I have to admit he is very impressive. I read several articles and some said he might go in the 3rd round, but some said 7th round. Gil Brandt thinks he should be tried out as an OLineman. I saw him listed at 283 and 294. Here is a good article and breakdown. http://draftbreakdown.com/ndt-scoutings-2015-nfl-draft-pound-the-table-series-dt-bobby-richardson/
