xskyx
1st round - Scherff OG (with or without a trade)2nd round - Eli Harold DE3rd round - Danielle Hunter DE4th round - Artis-Payne/Yeldon RB [doubt Yeldon falls, but just in case)That would fix our oline, add 2 new pass rushers, and give us a heavy bruiser to complement Freeman. Would you like or hate it? I haven't seen this combo yet. Figured I'd throw it out.Let me make it clear this is NOT my ideal draft. I'd prefer a pass rusher at 8. Flip Wilson
We need a pass rusher that can start day 1.
xskyx
We need a pass rusher that can start day 1.I agree. With that being said, I wouldn't hate this scenario. I'd still prefer the best pass rusher at 8.

Francis York Morgan
Having the first couple picks go like that wouldn't be bad at all, but...not a fan of the other two.
kingslasher
I could run behind Scherff and average 4.5 ypc. That dude is an animal. I'd be fine if the draft went like this.

delaigle
just how would Harold and Hunter be an improvement over Schofield and claybornor Goodman and Mapongaor Bierman and C Matthews ie rookies vs 2/3 year players (from mid rounds)
xskyx
just how would Harold and Hunter be an improvement over Schofield and claybornor Goodman and Mapongaor Bierman and C Matthews ie rookies vs 2/3 year players (from mid rounds)I'm not saying they would. I'm a big Goodman fan. Just saying this could possibly happen is Scherff is taken in the first.
*TMo*
I like the meanness in Brandon Scherff but the Offensive Lineman put up just 23 reps in the bench press at the combine. I put a lot less into the combine than most but 23 reps is just simply not strong enough for an offensive lineman in the NFL.See Peter Konz. Romfal
We need a pass rusher that can start day 1.I think this logic is a bit flawed. Even if he starts, he is still a rookie, not all of them produce big sack numbers year 1. I feel like whoever we draft at 8 will have extra unnecessary pressure on them since we havent had a rusher worth a **** in several years. Don't be surprised when he's consistently getting double digit sacks year 3. Just saying.

Hokies&Falcons
I'd be fine with it, though Beasley is the guy that I really want.People are saying that we need a pass rusher that can start day 1, which is true, but counting on a rookie to fix our pass rush right away is more than likely not going to happen. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/writer/pat-kirwan/25060804/nfl-draft-dont-expect-immediate-results-from-pass-rushers
Tony Diesel
Considering how anemic our pass rush has been and the simple fact that we are implementing a ZBS, I can't see this happening at all.Beasley, Gregory, or Ray will be there at #8. thanat0s
We need a pass rusher that can start day 1.Then they should've signed one in free agency.
takeitdown
Switch the 3rd rounder to a CB or S or WR and I like it. I don't think we need another LE yet.Would rather have pass rusher, then OG...but depending on how the board falls, this could be very good tooScherfHaroldDorsettCobbWould be pretty legit
spanish_falcon
I want pass rush with the first pick, but i´d rather get Schreff than reaching for Dupree if Beasley/Fowler gone. I think Gregory may be off our board now, at least in the number 8, they saying he could fall to the twenties
peoriabird
This fan base has been calling for an ace pass rusher for years and now we finally have an opportunity to draft an elite one, poster have changed directions and want a guard or a running back...this fan base is very tough to please

In fact, I said it wasn't ideal in the OP. I just stated it as a possibility, which it is. Hop off your high horse.
