Sad Day For Clan Direwolf

Recommended Posts

My father, who has been purchasing season tickets since the first year of the Dome so he could spent time with his sons, officially told the team that he will not be purchasing the PSLs to continue in the new stadium. While the right decision for our family (my brother and I have children now and that makes three tickets insufficient), it's sad to think that after 2016, we'll be watching every game from home.

Oh well - more time with more of my family, and way cheaper beer and eats.

In any event - go Falcons!

Oh, sure - never bail on the team. Frustrating, though. They could make the same amount of money easily just by selling advertising on the jerseys like the soccer teams do. As much viewership as the NFL generates, I can't believe that's not a model yet. And the regular fans wouldn't get squeezed out.

Oh well - is what it is.

they don t care about regular fans, they would rather have companies and corporations filling their pockets and stadiums.

Hear you bro.......I hope the 100 yard bar fails structurally and falls on top of the club seats myself....football is officially priced out of the common mans means now, the day is here ....this is what it is supposed to be about, outside with a beer, a hot dog and maybe a hot cup of coffee on a cold winter day with a shot of rum snuck in the stadium inside a flask ....but that chit is done, is now only for guys like esmith1%ereyesurgeonman ...... this is what it was and should ever remain ..........sad.png

Watching from home:

Better seating

Cheaper beer

Better beer variety

Cheaper food

Less annoying fans

Less travel, time saved

Shorter trips to the bathroom

guaranteed to see kickoff without having to leave early or get stuck in line at the last minute if you got stuck in traffic.

Freedom to watch another game if things are starting to piss you off

I have nothing good to say to Arthur and his greed/grab Frankly I would be just as happy with the existing Dome but of well. I am right there with your family sitting on my sofa

Hel I can take a break and get funky with my wife at home/halftime, can't do that even if you paid 40K for a PSL
