peterpiper
I know 80% of the board is Gurley. I understand this but Jeremy Langford will be available late. Watch the tape. This dude looks just like Roger Craig and will be available 4th/5th round. Had some dumb *** scout at combine say he is a bouncer. Which caused his stock to drop, which is great for us. All I see in the game tape is a disciplined running back that does a good job following his blockers. Who has a great burst, quick feet, and lowers the shoulder when he needs to. Watch the tape. This is our dude.
Herr Doktor
Im for whoever is available in the third through fifth rounds. A first or second round running back is madness right now.
AtlantaFanatic
80% of the board is not Gurley. Have you ever heard of the 80/20 rule? It's 20% of the people posting 80% of the noise you hear about Gurley.
Ben Day Hoe
Great at pass pro. I would definitely draft him. Hope he is there in the 4th.
capologist
I like Langford as well...
Hashbrown3
I've said this was my choice since the onset and yet I was hammered... Get this dude later in the draft and watch him shine! He's already got all the pro tools including blocking and his production is awesome. Good post OP!!
Kaptain Krazy
Im for whoever is available in the third through fifth rounds. A first or second round running back is madness right now.^^this^^This draft is very deep at RB and fairly deep at WR. There will be a WR in the 3rd and a RB in the 4th that can make significant contributions to the next year's team.
JJC28
you will have a 4th round running back or later a lot of undrafted free agents and the running game will be like the LB were last year really bad.
Str8 Bonafide777
I think if ajayi is ther in the 3rd we should take him

Big Reg Da Commish
I say wait until 3rd or 4th and grab either Cameron Artis-Payne or TJ Yeldon or Mike Davis.
atlGM
I really doubt we take a back before the 4ty round. But if did give yeldon( young Matt forte) or Cobb( young Micheal Turner)
Falcon Man™
Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you our next rookie RB:Duke JohnsonSelected first-team All-ACC in 2014 and left Miami as school's all-time leading rusher (3,519 yards). Finished 2014 season with 1,652 yards rushing. Ran for 249 yards against Virginia Tech and 130 yards against Florida State. In 2013, selected second-team All-ACC, but suffered season-ending ankle injury against Florida State. Was the 2012 ACC Rookie of the Year and selected second-team All-ACC while rushing for freshman record 947 yards and 10 touchdowns. Set UM single-season record with 892 kick return yards. Rated No. 1 running back in the nation out of high school and won a 5A State Championship at Miami Norland along with draft entrant and Miami tackle, Ereck Flowers. His father, Randy, died from ALS in 2008. PRO DAY RESULTS 40-yard dash: 4.5 and 4.51 seconds Vertical jump: 35 inches Short shuttle: 4.16 seconds 3-cone: 6.88 seconds Bench: 18 reps of 225 pounds ANALYSIS STRENGTHS Explosive burst and plays with suddenness. Elusive in tight quarters. Has lightning in his feet. Has hips and feet to stop and start without stalling. Rare ability on stretch plays to hit cutback lanes that other backs can't get to. Runs with patience and a well-timed burst. Has great feel as zone-scheme, one-cut runner. Changes direction without breaking stride. Courageous runner. Shows no fear when getting downhill. Strong-willed competitor with toughness. Has second gear around the corner and can erase the angles. Gets small(er) through the hole and runs behind pads. Fights through arm tackles. Regroups and balances himself after initial contact. Reads and sets up routes and adjusts to poorly thrown balls. WEAKNESSES Average inside runner, where feel and instincts are concerned. Vision fails him at times when running between the tackles. Won't always see initial hole and will mash turbo button, hoping to power through to second level. At times unwilling to do dirty work in pass protection. Looks for cut blocks rather than squaring up and playing with technique and toughness. Tries to run to daylight once in open field rather than just finishing runs. Hampered by injuries in 2014 and broke his ankle in 2013. Medicals will be combed over. Must improve ball security after fumbling six times over last two seasons. NFL COMPARISON Justin Forsett BOTTOM LINE One of the most explosive runners in college football during his time at Miami, Johnson doesn't need much of a crease to make defenses pay. His explosive quickness and elusiveness should help him adapt quickly to NFL speed. His feel and courage as a one-cut runner should earn him instant playing time. Johnson's lack of pass-protection skills and concerns about his durability could force him into a committee situation. He's perfectly suited for a role as a zone-scheme back. Jerry Maguire
No to Tevin Coleman! I think Johnson, Yeldon, Davis, and I like Malcolm Brown out of Texas. Love Abdullah but we need a back that is more ready for pass pro right now.

Jerry Maguire
Coleman doesn't have the vision or patience right now for a ZBS. He'd be better in a gap system where hevs told what gap to hit. He's also a more straight line guy. Yeah he's fast and he's going to make some big plays, but I don't think he is a fit here.
FalconFanSince1969
Why? Coleman is probably better than everyone you named other than Abdullah and he's small.Wouldnt that make Coleman small? Theyre the same weight
rootee
Langford would be great, in the 4th round. Has good size and speed. But if somehow Gurley was available in the second we have to take him.
