Licht, Robinson and Bajakian were also on hand for his pro day workout in mid-March.The Bucs have also brought Mariota in for the meet the parents sessions with ownership, and have given every indication they’re seriously considering him.Of course, a cynic would simply suggest they’re waiting to see if Winston screws up again in the next month, at which point they would simply move onto the next quarterback on their list, one which they have appropriately vetted beforehand. On the commish list, it doesn't matter if he's the best qb to ever play the game....... if he's not actually out there, playing the game.Mariota is the safe option. O-Ther Posted April 8, 2015 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Used to be a rule about taking WRs from Florida during the Spurrier years. They'd flame out fast in the NFL. Panthers are gun-shy about WRs from USC after drafting Keary Colbert and Dwayne Jarrett a few years back. LTs from Texas A&M might be trending that way, but there's time for Matthews to prove himself and Ogbuehi to start giving a d@mn. But the FSU QBs lately seem to be following the flame out rule with Chris Weinke, Christian Ponder, and EJ Manuel. Since Bucs are in the division, I'm hoping Winston follows in their footsteps.
