Randy Gregory

Since before the combine I've had my hopes high on randy Gregory. I don't know what it is specifically I like. Maybe the way he strikes the qb. The way he makes up for missing a sack..his highlights just stood out to me over others.

The consensus in tatf that it was Beasley or bust. no one was talking Gregory...not even in unrealistic terms. I've seen talk of his skinny frame and reasons why they didn't like him. Beasley fowler and ray were who we saw discussed.

But suddenly Gregory fails a drug test and this guy is a tatf rock star. You could say before there wasnt a possibility of him dropping to eight and now there is but I've read nothing of him before.

I've seen sceneries for fowler Williams even winston and cooper, but no Gregory.

The Falcon filter has really messed these guys up. It seems like the faults of our entire team falls on the fact that they have a clean record.

Why does a failed drug test make him so desirable?

I think he has been desirable all along, but everyone knew he would never last until #8. Now there might be a chance due to the character questions...

Could be. I think there's an obsession with "edgy" players though. Criminals=championship

well, i think williams, fowler, beasley, and ray are picked by the 8th pick.

The way i see it, the board thats left for the falcons should have scherff, gregory, and dupree on it.

i feel like scherff gets the jersey in such a scenario.

I'm just saying

If we pick scherff and leave Gregory my god Damm head will explode

when is the last time we drafted a good pass rusher? Passing one up again can not happen

Scherff should be a great offensive lineman. He's the safe pick for the Falcons, like you say their record picking defensive ends is not good. Wait until round 2 and pickup a good MLB to take the place of future Hall of Famer Paul Worrilow.

My draft for the Falcons first two picks.

1. Branden Scherff

2.Eric Kendricks

That's a great start for the Falcons, while it doesn't take care of the pass rush issue, it greatly strengthens your offensive line, and shores up the middle of the defense, so you're not giving up the middle on passes like you did with Worrilow in there.

Not the Glamour picks most would want, but a solid start to the 2015 draft.

If Fowler and Beasley are gone at 8, I would prefer a trade back, particularly if Mariota is still on the board.

If no trade partners are available, Collins or Schref is the pick. Investing in 1st round offensive lineman is never a bad thing, just ask Dallas.

*I left Ray off my wants list, dude will be outta the league by 2018.

A lotta mocks have the Falcons picking Ray. I use to think he could be a solid producer, not so much anymore. I don't think they'll be reaching like McKay and TD have been known to. Actually, I think the draft will tell a lot about how Quinn wants to run things now in Atlanta.

What's wrong with those two?

Anything other tHan the best pass rusher available at 8 will be a tragedy. to ignore that position again would be the most ridiculous thing possible.

And in the second we need to be looking at positions other tHan ones we already have young starters at. RB oline safety.

When you reach for a player is when you really get burned. Not saying you will, or even need to, but it's never a good idea.

Gregory at #8 could end up being a steal though.

Gregory is one of my favorite picks.

Even with the Mary Jane, he wont make it till 13.

I dont see Atl passing on him if he's there.

Fowler goes by 6

Cooper could be an option but WOW, Atl fans should jump ship.

Scherff should be high on TDs list. He instantly upgrades a HOLE atl has.

Kendricks is the #1 linebacker in this class isn't he? No way he lasts to the 2nd round. Especially since the Saints need one as bad as you guys need a pass rusher, they could grab him at 31

Yeah, Hes the #1 ILB and if he goes past 31, something is severely wrong with the kid.
