rollo lawson
It seems like this Gurley at #8 train is picking up a lot of steam, albeit via the media. Even DLed has him @ #8 to us (whatever that's worth?). I for one want Vic Beasley. But if the Falcons do select Gurley, it'll be interesting to see how they market him, given the large Bulldog contingent in an around Atl. Blank has an eye on ultimately filling that new stadium and maximizing his investment. Gurley does fill a huge need and is extremely talented. The more I think about it, the less I will be surprised if it happens. But I want Vic Beasley.
Halsey.
Gurley would become one of the 'faces' the very moment he was drafted.
YoungHeezy
I'm more concerned with if he's even going to be ready for camp
TheFalcoholic
Dan Quinn may want another Marshawn Lynch. That does in fact help the defense......

Herr Doktor
He is literally not going to play this season more than likely. So he doent help us this season. We need a bruiser now.

JDaveG
Not at 8. Not any RB at 8, but certainly not one who blew his ACL out the season before. In the 2nd or trading back into the late 1st? Sure. The problem is, I don't think we need him nearly as badly as we need a safety, a FB, more o-line and d-line help, and depth at LB.A fullback, a short yardage bruising RB and a couple of o-line pieces would do far more for the run and the pass than Gurley ever would. Halsey.
Just because you type on a message board that I player won't play next season doesn't make it true. You're just another person on a message board who thinks they have a crystal ball.

theDIRTYcode
"A" face, yes. "THE" face, no. It is far more likely that Gurley will be retired while Matt Ryan is still slinging it around the yard.
Tribal Chief
If they had one, he would. They thought getting Graham was worth their first rounder and Lynch re-up'd so it's safe to argue Gurley was probably not on their radar.
youngbloodz
Gurley will play during his rookie year unless he has another injury. Hopefully it isn't for the Falcons though unless we take him in the second

Sun Tzu 7
If all the pass rushers are gone and you can't trade down.... The number 8 pick HAS to be an impact player. No projects. If Gurleys healthy he would provide an impact

No projects. If Gurleys healthy he would provide an impactIf Fowler, Beasley & Ray are gone at 8, trade down to 11-13 and grab Gurley. Or take Cooper at 8. If Ray is still there at 8, I'd try to trade down 2-3 spots and take him there.
