DarrellShropshire
... Would you be ok with selecting NT Danny Shelton? I know Quinn is interested in upgrading the DLine. Shelton constantly wrecks havoc, and would compliment Hageman very well.A line on run downs would look pretty solid with Shelton in the mix...Hageman-Soliai-Shelton-Clayborn
DarrellShropshire
Or, would you approve of drafting a CB like Waynes to pair with Trufant? Just thinking of the best options to improve the defense, if the top edge rushers are gone.
Roddy84
If they are all gone I'd rather trade back
GATXBOI
I would go with Danny Shelton even though Trae Wayne would be nice but I would shock the draft and go with Landon Collins at
Sobeit
I think Williams, Fowler, Beasley, White, and Cooper will all be off the board when we pick making selecting Scherff kind of a no brainer.
dirtybird2k5
I would go with Danny Shelton even though Trae Wayne would be nice but I would shock the draft and go with Landon Collins at 8And you would be fired immediately as GM.
FalconOdense
My ranking at 8: Williams>Fowler>Gregory>Waynes>Ray>Sherrf>Beasley>White.
Herr Doktor
BPA, IF your scenario played out. Not really fussy. Any player could help us.
Gibson's Finest
I'm not an expert, but with the trade back scenario, if we can't get what we want with our own pick why trade back to get a player that we didn't really want (i.e. Bud Dupree)?? I get the taking of extra draft pick(s), but I'm just not understanding the logic vs BPA. I also understand the argument for paying a player more than they would more than likely get if the draft was to play itself out. For instance, if the top edge rushers are off the board, I'd probably go with Scherff as our o-line needs to be addressed still as opposed to trading back, picking up a player like Bud Dupree and do whatever with the extra pick. If you guys could help me see your point of view with the trade back scenario, it would be greatly appreciated
Oldskooler
If they are all gone I'd rather trade backExactly.Maybe even if one of them IS there.Adding a second rounder is very attractive with the number of holes we have.Trade for Cleveland's #12 and their second for our first. 1) Bud Dupree or Eli Harold2a) Nate Orchard2b) Bernardrick McKinney3) Phillip Dorsett4 positions with automatic upgrades. Shaffer25
Do you think they'd trade 12 & 19 for 8?Might have to give them a third rounder as well
Jarod_Briggs2
I have a feeling that if Beasly,Gregory and Fowler are gone we might just take Dupree. I don't like Ray so I wouldn't take him at
slamee101
I don't see a scenario where Fowler, Beasley, Gregory, Ray and Dupree are all gone. If one of those guys is there you have to take them.
BritFalcon
I'm really starting to doubt this scenario where all the top edge rushers get taken before us. If anything, I think its more likely that a team trades up to get Mariota or one of Cooper/White, which would push the likes of Beasley, Gregory and Ray down. weezy01212
IF that scenario were to happen I would like to take Landon Collins somehow, weather at #8 or trade back and take him
peoriabird
Ridiculous scenario...Not all of the team ahead of us are looking for a pass rusher. Jameis Winston/ Mariota/ all receiver have to drop out of the top 10...Not happening! So all of you passive aggressive posters hoping for Gurley can forget about it! Shaffer25
Give 8 and our third to cleveland for 12 and 19 select best pass rusher and best wr or rb

bigbabygrady
If Beasley, Fowler and Gregory are gone then I would give Dupree a hard look. If I couldn't pull the trigger on Dupree and there was no trade partner then I would take Scherff

FalconOdense
I think all this love with Beasley is a funny thing. Before the combine people thought he was a top 20 at best. Now suddenly he is the best ever because of a combine? I really dont get this..
PokerSteve
I think all this love with Beasley is a funny thing. Before the combine people thought he was a top 20 at best. Now suddenly he is the best ever because of a combine? I really dont get this..A superior performance at the Combine can be a huge difference in how a player is rated. You do understand that is why they have a Combine and everybody doesn't just go by game film, right? Not that difficult to understand how Beasley's draft stock could rise from his Combine unless you just dropped in from Mars.
youngbloodz
I probably would go with Danny Shelton if i couldn't trade back
