CrimsonFalcon
Honestly hate to say this, but I forgot he was even on the team. I extend my best wishes to him though.
AndySG
Had terrible luck with injuries and, unfortunately, didn't look to have the talent to overcome them. Best of luck to him, though.

blizzard_falcon
Huh... that's interesting. Not a lot of safety depth left.FS: Southward, Godfrey, Baker, BishopSS: Moore, IshmaelFigured Motta might not make it back with all of the rumors that he never healed properly from his 2013 injury. We could definitely use another strong safety in training camp given Moore's injury history, though I'd be content with a UDFA.
hjerry
Calling hjerryI said all along that was a matter of whether or not he was healthy, and that hasn't changed. I wish him the best.
Geneaut
He had a pretty nasty neck injury, and even at the time I had read reports it could be career threatening. He was a good thumper in his limited action with us.
g-dawg
Calling hjerrylol. I had us cutting Zeke when we were doing the whole salarycap dance - not that it was much of a salary saver - just said he was not worthy of a spot - hjerry had a cow. he loves him some Zeke Motta. Falcons_Frenzy
That sucks I was really hoping he would become a solid player for us for years to come. Best of luck to him.

PrimitiveJN
Never saw him as a starter unless due to an injury. Solid depth and ST tho. Best of luck to him.

Herr Doktor
Cervical neck injuries are nothing to take lightly. His life is far more important than a game.

If they cut him, it's b/c he wasn't healthy. This opinion has nothing to do with Motta, but is universal to all players still on their rookie contracts. If you picked a player that spent last season on the PS, I would say the exact same thing.
Geneaut
Just read an article that he actually had 2 surgeries to repair that injury ... the last one in July 2014 that required a second plate to be inserted, and a bone graft from his hip. The man started and played a football game with a broken neck sustained the game before. He's got nothing left to prove in my book. Here's the article for anyone who is interested: http://www.veronews.com/blogs/my_vero/my-vero-zeke-motta-wants-to-resume-nfl-career-after/article_8613e9d4-128c-11e4-992b-001a4bcf6878.html
