maxatlanta
No one knows how far he will fall on draft day. Maybe he is off our board, maybe he is near the top of it. At what point(if any) do you move back into the 1st to grab him? Assume it will cost whatever the value chart says it will. For reference, our 2nd and 3rd round picks would be worth about the same as #25 overall. I'd do that but don't see him falling that far. SkerFalcon8710
What if we get Beasley and trade up and grab Gregory late in the first.. bam!
Francis York Morgan
I really don't see any shot of him making it past pick #13 (Saints), but like, speculate away. :PIf he was there near the back of the first that'd be interesting, just can't see it. blizzard_falcon
If we're going to trade back up into the end of the 1st round, I'd much rather trade up for Eric Kendricks, Maxx Williams, Todd Gurley, or even one of the DTs (Brown, Phillips, Goldman, Davis). Now obviously that changes if we do something shocking like take Cooper/White or Scherff with the No. 8 selection. Then I'd definitely want us to consider moving up from No. 42 to grab Gregory or Eli Harold.
maxatlanta
Moss and Dez were clear cut elite prospects. Moss went 21st. Dez went 24th. I see Gregory as equal in terms of red flags and not quite as good of a prospect. And if anything, teams may be extra cautious with the NFL cracking down on player conduct and Gregory starting off with 1 failed test. Bobby.Digital
I don't see it happening with us signing Reed. Its been stated by him and Quinn that they want him at SAM. Let's say we do get Beasley who will play LEO I don't see where Gregory would fit in.
Falcons_Frenzy
When a player is in a free fall due to character issues the last thing I would want to do is trade up for him.

Burfict? Alot of character issues are overblown. If you have a strong enough locker room you can afford to take a chance on some of these guys. trubirdfan4life
Dan quinn will make the picks this year and his job will be tied to the #8 pick. He has worked with guys with bigger issue than weed. Gregory is on the board and can help this defense this season
Monolith2001
I can see him going in the top 20 even with the revelation. I think he may have picked a good year to test positive.
Money Lee
I wouldn't trade up for Gregory because OD the character issues, but I'd certainly pick him at #8!

xiv_T_E_C_O_
He will not fall, he will be a top 8 pick and I say that hoping that he actually does fall somewhat.

Sidecar Falcon
Why trade up for someone that is going to be there at 8? Only person I would trade up for would be Williams.

Maybe folks should update their opinions are up-to-date.It does not matter what the world's opinion of weed is. It matters whether teams want to high draft a guy who could be sitting at home serving a banned substance suspension on Sundays. I'm all for legalizing it but as long as the NFL says no, it's going to be a problem for guys who want to indulge. Even if it becomes 100% legal, it will still likely be banned in the NFL like a bunch of other substances that are legal in society but banned for sport. Roddy84
I wouldnt mind trading back and picking Gregory if the other top DEs are already gone at our pick. I dont see us trading back into the first to get him if we already got a pass rusher with the munber 8 pick

Beast-N-Da-Sheetz
Is it me or did a lot of people around here fall in love with Gregory AFTER he failed the drug test? Seemed like everybody hated him before then.

Saying a Top 10 talent who likes reefer will be long gone by pick 25 is not falling in love, it's just being realistic
