He did it for his buddies that were trying to showcase to NFL teams. The guy seems to be a real leader. I have a feeling that if he does fail (which I don't believe he will) it'll be due to him not being able to transition to the pros, rather than character issues or lack of effort, like JaMarcus Russell. End zone Jones
Jaboo is a helluva QB. I love his leadership and the on field play, he brought to my'Noles. I think he will have a successful career. He has everything you want out of a franchise QB. Of course, if you ask TATF.... He will never be anything more than Josh Freeman 2.0... Hahahahahaha. I think that's hilarious. I guess to post regularly in TATF, everyone in a different uniform must suck; and be labeled a bust. Fuqin wonderful!

Most of what you see posted about him in TATF is based solely on fear.

Most of what you see posted about him in TATF is based solely on fear.I agree. He is head and shoulders above what Freeman was, coming out of college. I don't know that I would call it fear?? Stupidity? Maybe? I can understand "dissing a rival", but to say at this point, that Jameis will bust..... I think that's more stupidity, than fear. While I do agree.... A good portion probably is from fear.... Fuq, I don't want to play Jaboo twice a year.. And the fear of being called a "troll" in TATF, if you say Jameis will even be decent. Dirtybird#11
tb is getting a qb that actually cares about his teammates.he is a guy that everyone who puts on the same jersey will fight with crab legs in hand to the bitter end. i dunno about tbs chances going forward, but i promise if winston is the guy there wont be another blowout loss for tampa.Hehehehehhe

Falconcheff
Joel Klatt @joelklatt 11m11 minutes agoThis Pro Day has taken a turn for the worse..Winston is winded and inaccurate plus moving too much...WR just crashed into TV set in corner This is the kind of stuff; coupled with his off-field problems, and that picture of his fat gut, that makes me wonder if he's ever going to grow up and put the time in to be a real pro, or if he'll be like so many other guys out there; not just quarterbacks, who never make themselves greater than what their natural skills and athleticism offers them... BayouBengalz
Will the bucs finally live up to the hype? That is the million dollar question! Although there isn't much hype this year...
jb 3.0
Will the bucs finally live up to the hype? That is the million dollar question! Although there isn't much hype this year...Other than they have the #1 pick in the draft, they shouldn't have any hype. After what they've posted the last 7 seasons, there's no need, you couldn't get any less relevant. That's another reason why the pick of Winston makes sense. Im not saying he doesnt need to up his stamina but I doubt his pro day is a good judge for that.

A non-issue.Cheffie's just not a fan and wants to believe the negative. He's certainly not alone.

Help me out here lol.Doug Williams. You have to understand just how big a racial barrier he had to go through to break into the NFL.John McKay had to push hard to get Hugh Culverhouse, our old owner to let him pick Williams. But yeah, Even the shot of having a REAL Franchise quarterback has me and most other Buc fans excited.
