mashburn*Fibonacci
This is a shocking that the falcons held him the most responsible for this. I would like to be a fly on the wall. Also I put event marketer in the title because we don't need the fans freaking out thinking the player. Lol. Because I could see that happening. mashburn*Fibonacci
My first thought is that he threw the Falcons under the bus. Or maybe he said it was allowed fully when it is only allowed for a short time to get the crowd motivated.

dozer
But seriously, the guy should have been fired anyway for constantly playing the "Rise Up" Sam Jackson spots to a dome full of opposing team's fans for the last 2 years. Which makes me think the crowd noise was probably attached to those Rise Up spots. Sam Jackson: "RISE UP!"Fake Audio Fans: "YAYYYYYY!"Yeah, the FO Roddy White did not have a clue how to get the crowd in the Dome fired up & loud, so looks like he had to resort to piping it in.Glad he's gone & hoping for a better game day experience (from whoever takes his place) the few times I'll make it to the Dome in person. Mr. Lubba Lubba©
No one has more motive to create the crowd noise than this guy, so it makes sense. His job is essentially getting that place as loud as possible. We're all talking about motives involving unfair advantage on the field and cheating, but the motive was a guy trying to create more noise to appear like he was doing a better job.So ends the mystery of Roddy White and Noisegate. Again, the 5th round pick punishment seems fair in light of this. If the main motive was competitive advantage, we might be in deeper trouble. I think the 5th round reflects that the motive was this guy going rogue to make himself look better, not give us an advantage.

paulitik
Roddy White and McKay are the guys in charge of gameday experience. Nobody fell on a sword. The punishment was appropriate. Any one wanting Dimitroff to take heat for this just has an agenda. Blank got hit in the pockets, his next in line got hit in reputation. Dimitroff got hit losing a draft pick,We should take our lump and move on. It could've been worse.

Tony Diesel
Hopefully Roddy will return to form this year, now that he doesn't have to worry about event marketing responsibilities anymore.
