AMERICAN NIGHTMARE
Last thing we need is to take a RB in the first. we need a pass rusher Edited March 29, 2015 by Falcons1990
Falcons_Frenzy
From a value standpoint drafting a RB in the top 10 is a bad idea. Who knows he could end up being worth it. But considering RB's have the shortest career and the majority are turning into timeshare I just can't justify doing it.

I'm not condoning taking him at 8, we need a pass rusher too bad. Gurley is probably the most talented and more impactful player in this draft. He's absolutely worth a top 10 pick. Unfortunately we don't have the luxury of BPA.That said, he would probably have more impact instantly than a rookie pass rusher in terms of wins. Our lack of impact in the running game was almost as harmful as our lack of passrush.

Herr Doktor
I've never been a big fan of taking a running back this high. Im sure Gurley may be worth that, not this year or this team though.
Kaptain Krazy
i will be shocked if ATL takes Gurley (or any RB) with the #8 pick. Bringing in Shanahan and moving to the ZBS is strong evidence that RB will not be the direction for the 1st round selection. IF the Falcons decided on offensive skill player BPA with the #8 pick, WR would make more sense than RB.
CTann
No to a RB at #8.I like the 2-3 picks.
M@ck
I like the Mock. If we can land Preston smith and either Valles or Chickallo while adding 2 playmakers such as Gurley and Dorsett this draft would be amazing imo!!

Roddy84
we need to draft Henry next season to solve our RB problem if Freeman doesnt show out this season
BleedBlack&Red
I'm behind it. You're taking play makers and I like it. If Beasley or Fowler are there you take them instead of Gurley and grab a FS in the 2nd and Jay Ajayi in the 3rd.
Godzilla1985
**** I swear I'm gonna go on a ******* killing spree if I see another mock with Todd Gurley as our 1st round pick.

paulitik
that 32nd ranked defense begs to differ. You didn't read my post. I agree we need to draft Defense, but to dismiss Gurley is idiotic. He's probably the best player in the draft.
