Dirtybird#11
I'm actually hoping he ends up in Dallas.I hope he falls to ATL in the 4th.... But the absolute worst case scenario is if he ends up in ARZ. Then we would all be screwed with him throwing it up to Fitz and Flyod

But I'm not sold on winston and I won't be until he does well against NFL secondaries

Petty does have a cannon! If you think Petty will excel, what makes you think Winston(a more "pro ready" qb) wont? His off the field antics combined with his game makes for an awful combo.... Don't believe me? Watch his UF game or his Clemson game where he sat on the sideline the entire time. Plus Like I have already stated the kid throws high on most passes. But luckily for him he was playing against secondary compeition that wasn't up to par with the NFL level, and he was throwing to KB and Greene for most of his days at FSU

Dirtybird#11
I would love to see Petty learn behind BreesThat also would be deadly, but I'm afraid he by the time Brees is done Wouldnt have any weapons aside from an aging Colston. This of course is assuming they go all (mostly) defense in this draft

I don't know that there will be another extention

But luckily for him he was playing against secondary compeition that wasn't up to par with the NFL level, and he was throwing to KB and Greene for most of his days at FSUI'm gonna take a wild guess....... And say you're a rival team of FSU's fan(Miami,Clemson,UF)... I'm also gonna say you have obviously only watched a handful of his games. 1st year-- Great O-Line from RT to LT, like 30 something combined starts. Very solid all the way across. With one of the best center's in the nation(NOW SB CHAMP with NE). A good backfield rotation with Freeman, Wilder JR, Karlos Williams. Wilder being more of our goal line/power RB, even played FB quit a bit. Then we had Kelvin, Kenny Shaw, R Greene + Nick O'Leary. Add Jameis to that, THE BEST QB IN THE NATION AT THE TIME=HIGHEST SCORING TEAM IN HISTORTY! On to the defense... Easily a Top 5 all time FSU defensive group. A lot of playmakers. Lemarcus Joyner, Telvin Smith, Christian Jones, Terrance Brooks. Plus one of the best DC's in Jeremy Pruit. We lost a **** ton of people to the draft, etc... Year 2-- Jameis lost a few of his weapons, a few piece's on the line. A lot on the defensive side. Our line wasn't protecting Jameis. If you took Greene out of the game, our other WR's wasn't up to par. O'Leary fell off for some reason, same as Karlos Williams. Jameis hardly ever had a clean pocket, or the time to make it past his 2nd read. The defense fell apart, we had no play makers. The DC was a fuqin joke. We couldn't stop a team for ****..Sooooo.... I firmly believe Jameis was "pressing" the whole year. He knew he had to make "the play" EVERY TIME. The WR's dropped hella balls, defense would let teams run up and down the field. He knew he had to make plays when he had the ball. That's why his INTs went up. How do you throw 65 TD's to 28 INTs, without being able to read secondaries? 2013- 66.9 completion %. 4,057 yards. 10.6 YPA. 40 TDs 10 INTsBut he can't read the D... Hahaha. Bro do some studying or research...2014- 65.3 completion %. 3,907 yards 8.4 YPA 25 TDs 18 INTsIf you just look at the numbers unbiased, they say 2 main things. Receiver's wasnt getting down field and/or the line wasn't giving him time to find the WRs down the field..Way to pick 2 games out of 27 though. He's 26-1 as a starter... STRAIGHT WINNER!! Oh, and seriously a game where he didn't play? WTF is that supposed to prove. He was "coaching up" Maguire the whole game.. Da fuq outta here with that..I know you might have got out of school not to long ago, but I just took you right back to school... You're welcome for the knowledge. I don't mind educating.. Dirtybird#11
Yes I am a Clemson fan, but I can't argue that he isn't a winner....in college. Do you know who else had as awesome win percentage in college? Vince Young,Matt Leinart,Brady Quinn, etc. They don't all just translate well into the NFL. Personally I don't see why people rave over Jameis aside from his size, but it's whatever..... I don't believe he will succeed in the NFL, but yall know better. Time will tell and if he is the Bucs "guy" that changes their losing ways then good for them I'll eat my crow humbly. But if he isn't and he turns out to be Jamarcus Freeman 2.0 then yall Winston nut huggers got some explaining to do.

Dirtybird#11
I didnt compare them at all in any way shape or form. I was just saying that not all winning college QBs become winners in the NFL also.... That's not how it works
End zone Jones
THEYVE been off..... And Id love to argue with an obvious FSU fan about his favorite player in decades,Wrong again... My favorite is Neon Deion, played for my 'Noles and Falcons. Followed by Warrick Dunn, 'Noles and Falcons. Followed by Derrick Brooks, unfortunately he played for the Bucs as well. Devonta Freeman,'Noles and Falcons. Then Anquan Boldin..So see, he's not even in my Top 5.. I just find it ridiculously hard to believe, that you can't see the talent and potential he has.. Something in the "talent evaluating" part of your brain isn't working! Edited March 28, 2015 by Mr. Derrty Bird
