"##### ########### #########. We were not asked to relocate. In fact, when we asked prices of other sections, we were told those sections had not yet been priced. (Given a date of June 1) The sole purpose of our meeting was to convince us we needed to be in the club level seats.......you know.......for those who want the country club experience instead of watching a football game. They were extremely focused on "enhancing your game day experience."

This meeting followed the same script as when someone is trying to sell you a timeshare.

I will say our reps were courteous. We are extremely bitter that our 50 years of loyalty are being rewarded by pricing us out of our seats.....maybe the dome, and we made no effort to hide our displeasure.

My sis, ######## ########## ####' said the reps were probably glad when we decided to "Rise Up" from the table."

Don't worry, the seats your family's held for 50 years will be taken by one of the Wine & Cheese crowd that care little more than to be SEEN at an NFL game, while sipping wine and munching on goat cheese.

I've always enjoyed the game on television anyway. My beer is better and cheaper, my bathroom never has a line, my sofa is far more comfortable than a stadium seat, my food is far cheaper and much tastier, zero traffic issues, and when the game is awful, I can turn it off and go do something else.

I have never been a big fan of throwing my money at a professional sport franchise. I guess I am a sorry assed fan in that regard. But when I decided that the out pouring of my money to the Falcons was more than I was willing to shell out, I decided TV was the way. If it was ever blacked out, no real lose.

Yeah I just bought 4 @ 60k and shouldn't have

I assure you for $60k I would have one **** of an entertainment setup in my living room on the most comfortable couch I could find with a dedicated beer cooler right by my side and STILL have money left over. That's a better game day experience for the money.

For $60k you could have a very nice car....

Redo your kitchen & bathrooms....

I could never justify the expense for something you'll do 10 times a year.... But then again I am going to Disneyland and staying in a Disney hotel...

so would it be a kick to the balls if i told you i bought my psl.... 2 seats 40k

Enjoy your tickets....and your payment of 4k 3x for the installment plan. I'll buy them from you for half price in 3 years...scratch that. No I won't - I'll just go to 1 game year...still cheaper to buy single game tickets, even at high prices. PSLs are fools gold.

Interested to see what the PSL fees will be for my seats (Sec 322). I've been assuming they will price me out of re-upping when we move to the new stadium. Stinks, because i've loved being a STH. But if i had $$$$$ to spend on tix, i would have been sitting in the 100s at midfield.

Of course, given the way tv technology is advancing, no one may be buying tix in 5 years, as we all have large screen HDTVs with surround sound.

This is what they are competing with ^^. I have a 65" 4k TV and surround sound. I can pause the game or even turn it off if I get angry. I'm majority disappointed that I let my tickets go but there is no loyalty in giving my money to a billionaire. Going to a game and/or having season tickets is simply a luxury status symbol.

If you don't like/agree with PSL's that's fine, most hate em, but no reason to hate on those who bought them. They're falcons fans too

No one's hating. But if people are going to brag about throwing money around in a very conspicuous manner, expect people to reply. I think that is a fair reaction. My financial planner would agree that 80% of those buying PSLs have little to no financial standing to purchase them. Its like someone buying a car that can't afford and showing it off....but still rent an apartment.

think about it 60k

you could probably pay full cost broker prices for 2 tickets to the next 5 Super Bowls(including airfare ) and at the same time by not having to pay the new cost of tickets(not included in the 60k) and not paying full price for the 2 preseason throwaway tickets you could also probably go to all the regular season games via stub hub as well as a nice tv setup at the house and will still be "saving" money

I live in the Jonesboro area. Here it is commonplace to see a very nice, very new Caddy with B-Dub 28 inch spinners and gold trim parked in front of a rickety aluminum siding house that needs paint and the grass cut...

Financial irresponsibility is wrong and most certainly the American Way.

Yay Falcons!!! Sell those PSL's. A sucker born every minute....

There's nothing like being in the stadium in the first few rows, screaming your *** off until you have no voice left, urging your team on to victory. I mean NOTHING LIKE IT!

Too bad the greed of Goodell and the rest of the owners is quickly bringing it to an untimely death.sad.png

^This

I have been in section 123 for years now - row 4 - right next to the tunnel where the Falcons enter and exit the field. I love the section - many of the same fans for years.

It is fortunately, outside of the areas they've named for PSL's so far, but falls in the "rest" of the seats.

I'm hoping that the new PSL will be reasonable and that the seating will indeed be comparable, but I fear that they won't. Breaks my heart.

All that cash for 10 games a year. Play-offs and other events not included. I'm frankly amazed there is enough demand to make this concept feasible at any price, much less $40,000 to $60,000 a pop and up. Wonder if the concept will remain viable ~ and for how long ~ if the Falcons continue to flop.
