brown bomber
Dimitroff said it was possible Sam Baker shifts to guard. No decisions made until Baker gets healthy. @SiriusXMNFLPer twitter

Lornoth
He said he was willing a while ago. Code for 'I'll do anything to keep my job.' I don't think he could play anything but LT very effectively.
Guest Homer the Brave
I hope it works out. I'd love to see him be productive somewhere, for his sake and the team's.
atljbo
Please God just do us a solid And retireactually we need him not to retire... The best for us would be if he could be a solid guard this year and we cut him next year....If that happens.. The cap hits would be so much better. The worst case is we cut him after june 1st... We gain around 4.8 mil but his cap hit next year will be 6 mil.if he retires.. that whole 9.2 mil would hit us this year
Guest Mr Plow
I think he should move to guard ... FOR ANOTHER TEAM ... after we cut him June 1st!
Wokezone
He tried that and was decimated
Herr Doktor
He is a LT. Nothing more. And he still sounds like he is dinged up. Moving TRex arms to guard is an act of desperation.

JRid
Apparently I'm not smart enough to post the actual picture, but here is the link. What exactly was TD doing when they grabbed him for this interview? I'm just not sure why he is dressed like this. Pretty funny. https://twitter.com/SiriusXMNFL/status/580532541523890176/photo/
PokerSteve
He tried that and was decimatedApparently Quinn missed that video of Baker trying to be a guard. If he'd seen it, he'd know it's a hopeless endeavor.
falcon82111
let's see , the only season he played half way respectable was his contract year and every other year he gets hurt. I hate the dude stays hurt but sometimes a person needs to realize that they need to be a team player and just get out of the way . He just does not get it that he is holding this team back. If he would retire then he would be helping this team by not making us take a cap hit. He has already made millions Now be a team player and get out the way. wuskillzz
If it didn't work when they tried it a couple years ago, why would it work now?
Jamesgall13
Dimitroff's fashion sense is as good as his ability to build a roster.
Herr Doktor
Bakers broken body and his ridiculous contract will forever be an albatross that Dimitroff will carry. The stench is great.
vel
I already knew this when he was kept for so long. I'm fine with it. He can fight Konz and Stone for it. If he doesn't win, cut him or make him take a steep paycut after camp.
falconidae
actually we need him not to retire... The best for us would be if he could be a solid guard this year and we cut him next year....If that happens.. The cap hits would be so much better. The worst case is we cut him after june 1st... We gain around 4.8 mil but his cap hit next year will be 6 mil.if he retires.. that whole 9.2 mil would hit us this yearOver The Cap has his 16 cap hit for a June 1 cut as 4.5 mil.He tried that and was decimatedFor an entire 7 snaps. Think that if he spent the entire preseason at guard, he might be better.Falcons record when Baker starts at LT is 45-15, it's impossible for him to be as bad as everyone claims and for the team to have that good a record when he starts.
