arabfalcon
I havent heard much talk about what were going to do at RB. Quinn and co made it pretty clear we are going pass rusher with the first pic . You think we will draft a RB as high in the second round? Since the FA RB pool is pretty much empty. I was a big AP guy even though a lot of pll don't want another FA RB. I wouldn't be mad if we gave up a 3rd for him tbh.
vel
I don't know. That pick at #42 is going to be an interesting one because it's going to be a borderline first round talent. If we take Ajayi, I'd be perfectly happy. If we waited until the fourth and took David Johnson, I'd be perfectly happy.
Roddy84
I think Freeman is more than capablle of starting in Shanahan's offense Edited March 24, 2015 by Roddy84

atljbo
the think freeman can be the guy ... we will probably bring in a bigger back with a mid-late round pick
Romfal
we have enough needs where we can go BPA in the second round. be it ILB, RB, LG, Safety, or whatever else useful.

Otherwise, we should wait until the 4th round and use the first 3 picks (depending on noisegate) on defense and offensive line, the LG position in particular. Guest Mr Plow
I know a guy that is a bartender. He regularly serves drinks to a guy that used to date a girl that is sisters with a woman that cuts the hair of a woman that used to date a guy that is brothers with a guy that works in the front office of the Falcons. According to them, we are drafting Mike Anderson in the 4th round.
citsalp
Freeman will be lead back David Cobb the pounder in the 4th or 5th round, Smith the burner on the edges 5 or 6 times a game. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSHhWohBk1c
Adam25
Probably a fourth or fifth round pick will be a good compliment to Freeman, someone like David Cobb from Minnesota would be nice. #42 has to go to either OG, MLB or FS whatever they feel is BPA at those positions. FalconFanSince1970
Yall boys better be glad I aint ya GM cause I'm goin Gurley at all cost. NCAA as beater. Will definitely transfer to the the National Football League. Trust me folks. If somehow we miss on him then shame on Blank and his boys. Give me that mofo, Ice and Julio and I will rip any NFL team. Even without a defense. Trust.

k-train
No team with Kyle Shanahan as OC has ever drafted a HB before the very late 3rd round. No 1st rounders, no 2nd rounders, and barely any 3rd rounders.Let that swim around in your mind a bit. k-train
I'm thinking the earliest we take a HB is possibly Cobb or Javorius Allen in the 4th. Otherwise, Zenner somewhere in the 5th-7th.
momak
Antone and Freeman will be just fine. We just need a short yardage back somewhere in round 5 - 7.Use the early round picks for O Line (LG) and we will be good.

trubirdfan4life
There are several backs that can run the 1 cut scheme. We have 2 right now...add a 3rd guy in the middle rounds and we are ready for war
quotemokc
I would not say we have an issue in the slightest, it is the line that makes the RB function, give Freeman the reins to be the workhorse, Antone can be situational, all we need is a big back that can guarantee us 2 yards when we need it which should be easy to find in FA or a late late round in the draft, and a semi reliable backup. We need to fix the defense so going RB in round 1,2,3 or 4 would be idiotic. dirtybird2k5
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Antone blows up with some insane 6.0 ypc and 900 yards with 8 TDs.
